Good but a bit rushed
This was a really interesting premise. I don't think I've read anything quite like it and I was immediately sucked into the story. Unfortunately, it felt really rushed. The background story for the characters is hinted at but never really explained. I got that Ophelia has suffered some trauma but its wasn't real clear what had happened or why it would make her sacrifice herself as a deadwed to get away. We just jump right in with the Sect treating her horribly and then she's heading over the bone ward. I needed more background in the beginning. Then everything happened so fast with the 7 sins and pandora that I kept thinking I'd missed chapters. I wanted to like the 7 sins but they just came off as apathetic. They let her go back to the Sect without them, but then they change their minds I guess. Bottom line, this is a really unique story but it needed a second or even third book. There was way too much story to pack into a standalone. I love that the author is building an interconnected world here. I hope she continues it but stretches out each character's individual story more.

Has some strong points
4 1/2*Auto off half-star for noticeable overuse of the word "suddenly".Now for the review and potential spoilers within…What I liked? It had a strong Alice in Wonderland like feel, and for a story that was ½ traipse around the woods on a linear “find me” quest, it kept me engaged. Kudos. I also liked how the different sins really did feel like different people. Having a large diverse cast is a hard thing to pull off, so another kudos to the author for that.Neither a like nor a dislike… For an RH romance, I’m having trouble remembering if there were any hot-and-heavy times in the book. I guess if there were, they were seamlessly added and were cohesive to the story, and if they weren’t there, then, OK. The story worked without them. Now, for what I didn’t like. Not a lot stands out as a dislike that wasn’t already mentioned. The story flowed. It didn’t really drag an any one place that I can name.Would I recommend? Hard to say. There has been a disturbing uptick of racial slurs being used in the novels I’ve been reading, and that really turns me off. If that doesn’t bother you, then this might be for you.

Good
This was a nice stand alone to read especially if you're done with series that are not finished and you just need an ending immediately. It's a RH with a little bit of MM thrown in but it's all real clean with pretty much fade to black scenes so not smut.We see our fmc struggling in a place she calls home, where everything she says or does will be scrutinized and not believed. She offers herself up to be a sacrifice to escape a faith for her worse then dead. She has to learn to trust and read between lines with the seven "Old Gods" if she wants to survive.

Interesting concept
I will start with this was the first book by this author that I read. I was hooked from the beginning and I will be reading the next book however, that being said this was in serious need of an editor, lots of typos and misspelled words. There’s a definite overuse of the word hum. Overall it’s enjoyable if you can get past that part. I will also say if you’re looking for lots of heat this isn’t it, it’s pretty slow burn.

Description erroneous
The title says reverse harem with MFMMMMMM. That is not true. Not only is there only ONE MM action, but there is only ONE MFM action and that is at end. I am so glad I didn't pay big bucks for this story. I will be putting this author in my 'do not read section.

Not your normal - give it a chance!
I am big fan of RH novels (i.e. why choose) and feel like ive read every single type from your typical supernatural (werewolf, fae, vampire) to your normal school girl or academy life. This book doesnt fall in either of those categories and falls its an area quite its own. I think the idea or notion of the seven deadly sins each being their own person has never quite been written as it was. I thoroughly enjoyed it and felt the overall writing was refereshing. I genuinely hope there is a sequel to this or at the very least a different angle in this same world.

Now this author has another follower.
It was a good book I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for all the typos and sentences like this "Bodhi lifted my life, bending it at the knee," but otherwise I am now a follower of this author. I know this book says its a standalone but that ending there is definitely going to be more. Now if that next book follows the same characters, that would be awesome I really would love to read more about them!

A good read
A good read for those that like a female lead who overcomes trauma and gets all the men. Rather than deal with an unwanted marriage she chooses to be the sacrifice to the old gods. Nothing is what she thought it would be, specially when she discovers the 7 men who embody the 7 sins. I liked it.

Excellent!
I didn't know what to expect with this book, but what I got was a really fresh idea, an interesting cast of characters, and a nice slow build to a finale. The hints at Ophelia's past were tantalising, and the sins were all unique and hot in their own ways. Loved it!

Refreshingly different
Really loved the development of the main female character and watching her belive and accept herself more was really fulfilling hope I get to know the male characters more in a second book, so I'm really hoping there is one, because I want 't too read it!

potential
The book really had potential. I loved the premise and the plot but the end fell short for me compared to the great build up and start. It really needs an editor as well as some words weren’t even remotely correct. It’s a shame

an abused women finds strength in an unusual way
Fearing further abuse, Ophelia chose to sacrifice herself to the Old Gods in the same way as her ancestors. In the Never Forest, Ophelia meets people and faces challenges that few could master.
