Mililani Mauka

I was hooked after McKinney's first book The Tattoo and have always looked forward to his next book. My family is from the Wa'ianae side but moved to Mililani Town...just a ways down from Mililani Mauka...and I can envision every location that Chris writes about especially the Wal-Mart in his story. I used to work there.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Reading "Tattoo" now. I'm a Chris McKinney fan!

This book is written well, but not fantastically. The story is a good one, though a tad ironic and unrealistic at times. The ending comes abruptly and seems to be tied into too-pretty of a bow.
