We received this wonderful window shelf system quickly and when I had questions about it and replacement parts, the owners contacted me in less than 24 hours and were very helpful. We really have nothing to complain about with these.You can still open the window while it is in place. It is sturdy and has held 20 lbs worth of plants and soil for over a year.I am very happy with this purchase!

I bought these shelves because the seller plainly stated in the answer section that the shelves work fine in windows with blinds. Maybe they work “fine” with the sellers blinds but they did not play well with mine!I have standard mini-blinds, nothing unusual, probably the same type of blinds that most people have. They are inside mounted and almost flush with the outer trim, as I said, nothing unusual, mounted normally if you follow the blind manufacturer installation instructions.I need to keep these blinds in place because I don’t want neighbors looking into my home at night but I loved the idea of being able to move my plants into a sunny window and I hoped these shelves would be perfect for that.Nope. As long as the blinds are pulled up everything fits, but if I try to lower the blinds they hit the shelves. If I pull the shelves out while I lover and set the blinds, the shelves then settle back into the blinds and push them deep into the window, bending my blinds and making a mess. Also, the shelves are now tilted and I’m afraid my plants may slide back into the blinds during the night and make opening the shades in the morning a big hassle.The shelves hang inside the window space taking up the exact same space as the blinds want to occupy and there is not a satisfactory solution supplied with the kit. In fact, nowhere in the skimpy one page instruction manual supplied with the shelves is there any mention at all about what to do if you have blinds in your window! Nothing!If you need to keep blinds in your window please don’t buy these, you will not be happy. Now all I need to do is set up a return and then patch and paint those two big screw holes left in my wall.

the wires are not finished so they become completely frayed and unusable after the first attempt to put the support bar through, forget the subsequent cable stops, shelves, and other support bar. Has made for an expensive, useless, messy pile in the corner of my garage. Buyer beware if you have Any intention of removing or adding shelves to customize your needs.

The instruction sheet was not very clear, but the installation was easy nonetheless. I considered turning the shelving upside down to provide a lip on the shelves, but changing out all the clips would have been a hassle. I like the clean design.

This was my second order for these shelves. I paid more for the first ones. Simple to install...simple to move shelves up . Just use the Allen wrench in the packet. Even though I bought two sets,I feel they are overpriced. I couldn't find any other shelves this nice,so I paid the price.

Husband tried to put this up but one of the shelves was crooked (since they are all held up by a metal stoppers there was no way to adjust it) and didn't even take off all the coverings on the shelves because the shelf on top was scratched. Really wanted this to work but looks like it's getting returned.
