My doctor suggested monitoring a family member's blood pressure and this works great for that. It included batteries and we were able to use it within a minute of opening the box, although there were a few features that we needed to figure out later.To use, just put the cuff snugly on your upper arm and push the start button. The cuff slowly inflates until it displays the readings and deflates the cuff. The readings are saved for up to 2 people, and you can easily view the average readings for either person, or go through all the past readings, including the date and time of each, if you have set up the clock. I am tracking more than 2 people so I just write down the readings in a notebook to bring to the doctor later. (I also bought a finger tip O2 monitor separately to also track her oxygen levels.)The readings seem very accurate based on our past tests; of course, you need to sit quietly before and during testing. No talking, please!It will also take a micro-USB power supply (not included) instead of batteries, but it is still working fine on batteries after at least 20 readings. It doesn't seem to have any way to hook up to a computer or phone but I wasn't looking for that. I prefer to keep things simple.The only suggestions I would have are to add a few more inches to the hose to more easily reach the table instead of a lap, and to show the date and time a little longer when scrolling through past readings instead of flashing for only a second or two.Everything seems like very good quality and hopefully this unit will last for years.

The product had batteries that had acid on them and acid on the cuff. I had to wipe it to even use it since doctor has me start measuring blood pressure tonight I don't have time to get a new one.

Love this. The cup fit my husband’s oversized arms easily. The numbers are large and easy to read. Works fast. I really like it. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars is the programming. That was a pain in the butt! Overall, highly recommend!

I find this blood pressure monitor to be very easy to use. The included instructions are very clear and this monitor has been the easiest of the three different monitors that I have, to set the time, date and to use. It works well without squeezing the beejeezus out of your arm. It's very quiet too, which is nice. It stores readings, two people can keep separate readings and overall seems like a very well made instrument. It's too early to tell about durability but I expect it to last a long time. It comes with 4 cheap AAA batteries so if it starts to malfunction I suggest replacing the batteries with name brand immediately. It has a port for a USB cord to power it, but you have to supply your own cord.
