It does appear to be well made enough. I haven't as yet been out to use it as I would do. It is, of course, a copy of Peak Design's V3 but cheaper by some way. It does remain to be seen if this is as good as the British made original idea, as in the actual quality of the casting and it's durability which will take some time. I gave it 5 stars because of the feel and functionality of it fits the bill as you'd want and the price, obviously. I'm using it on a Nikon D3500 with a Tamron 18-400mm lens attached and hoping it will prove to be just what I required. The only downside as yet, is the base plate doesn't fit your standard tripod ARC fitting, it's smaller. That would be great but, it would make the whole device that much bigger.Overall so far, I'm feeling pleased with it and expect it to be up to the job.

First impressions? I got what I paid 17 quid for, a slack mechanism with what feels like a weak spring releasing a tiny 3mm pin. It is backed up (necessarily?) by an easy-to-use locking screw to nearly eliminate movement once the plate is in place and minimise stress on the pin. It’s also feels heavy at 145g compared to the Peak V3’s (claimed) 84g, but then it was nearly one quarter of the price at time of purchase. The thing is, we are clipping on big, expensive cameras so need these nifty clips to feel as bombproof as a neck strap but without the dangling annoyance when clambering around in the undergrowth. After trying it a couple of times on my day pack with my Sony a6300 (760g) the paint was already rubbing off and the need to use the locking screw for security was not worth the faff. The slack will only increase with use and the spring does not inspire confidence. Looks nice in black and orange but decided to return it and resume my idea of converting a spare Gorillapod head for the same purpose. Or if I win the pools I might just find a way of coughing up another 44.56 for a V3.

Even the blockage click you can still take the camera of without pressing the release handle. Is not safety for the camera.THE paint is coming off very easy and it looks terrible.
