Heavy Grips Hand Exercisers - Hand Grippers for Beginners to the Most Seasoned Professionals The Heavy Grips hand gripper series was developed for athletes who want to take the training of their grip strength to the next level. These high quality aluminum-handled hand-grippers are crafted with 50 inch-force-lb torque increments from 50lbs to 350lbs so that you can train your grip similar to training any other bodypart-- by increasing resistance. This will finally allow you to build the huge forearms and crushing grip you have been unable to achieve by doing endless reps with plastic-handled hand-grippers.

Very happy
I went for the 250 since I tried a friend's 100lb and could do 25 reps. I knew the 250 would be a struggle but I could work up to it and it would give a challenge. This one met my expectations and went above. Nice optional foam handle add on that I opted out of using. I find that the nicely knurled ones give the best grip and don't hurt like some suggest unless you are doing way too much.

50lb is kinda light
My 15 year old wanted this as a birthday gift. I wasn't sure if I should buy 50 or 100 lb resistance so I went light. Better to be able to squeeze it then not. He is an average active teen nothing special strength wise. I should have purchased the 100lb. He is doing four sets of 25 reps and the least set is slightly difficult but again nothing crazy. As far as the equipment goes it is well made and feels good in the hand. I will be buying the 100lb for Christmas.

You'll never get the foam on them...
I bought the black colored 50 pounds hand grip for my wife. They are quite easy to do for her. She can do 15 to 20 reps right off the bat with no prior grip training. I should have bought the 100 pound grippers. That being said, the 50 pounds would be very good for an older person w arthritis or for a tween or for someones much weaker left hand. The hand strengtheners quality is excellent and accurate. The package does come with blue colored foam that you can 'try' to stretch over and place on the 2 bars. That being said, this foam is impossible to place on the 2 bars and I tore both foams trying to get them onto the 2 bars (the metal bars provide way too much friction for the foam to stretch over them...they just tore and I trashed both foams within 5 minutes of trying and failing). Though the bars dont even need that foam covering, anyway, in my opinion.I'd buy again though , the 100 pound grip strengtheners.

Just what I expected
A solid, all metal grip. I ordered the 100 LB grip, which fits my large to extra large hand well, and provides a good workout for me (68-year old male). The metal is textured, much like a pistol grip, and initially some pain develops after many repetitions. I expect the pain to subside as callouses develop. Nice. I use it while driving.

Excellent build quality
Very simple product with excellent build quality. The 200 is no joke! It's not something that I can casually do reps on while driving down the road. I have since picked up the 100# & 150# for the family to use and for something I can do reps with. Hopefully, I'll have a need for the 250 soon!
