What coaxial splitter is compatible with this device? Reviews of 2.4 and 2.5 GHz splitters describe mixed success

Thanks for your interest in TRENDnet! Yes splitters are compatible.  Note, that when choosing coax splitters, MoCA 2.0/2.5 Edge-to-edge frequency = 1125-1675MHz with the Default channel = 1150MHz.  Choosing a splitter outside this frequency range is not supported.

Question 2

Main feed from comcast goes to the moca, then it breaks, because comcast's modem must be directly connected to the coax line from the wall.   right?

Directions say hook internet to router with coax. Then connect MoCA to router with ethernet to get internet signal.  Connect MoCA to a different coax connector on the wall.  Then connect MoCA at other location with coax to wall.  Check signal to make sure coax connects two end points coming out of wall.

I want to extend internet to a room using the coax for cable tv. will this interfere with tv? what splitter should i use?

it wont interfere you just need a 2.5 splitter at least

I have 3 seperate coax cables for each room can I use a splitter at the router's moca to send the signal to each of the 3 cables?

To clarify my understanding each room has a coax port that is not connected to a splitter at the moment, and you're plan is to take all of those and put them on a splitter from the MoCA node near your router? If so, yes that should work, my setup is similar just my splitter is on a different floor of the house. I have 2 separate ports downstairs and 2 ports upstairs, all of them router to a closet, but they didn't have a splitter. So I purchased a splitter and had the port upstairs near the router split out to the other 3 ports. 2 of those 3 ports are MoCA nodes. Just note that the splitter needs to be a high bandwidth splitter (they do sell MoCA rated splitters).
