Dan Post Men's Winslow Embroidered Square Toe Western Boot

I bought these for my son for Christmas. I was a little hesitant due to other low reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. The boots are very nice looking and the color is spot on. They look well made.

I use the try before you buy feature and tried these boots. While I didn't end up buying them, they were very nice.

They look almost the color black in person instead of any shade of blue. Unfortunately the size 16w was a little small, but will return them and get another pair from Dan Post that are blue and a size up.

I do suggest that upon purchase that you get a leather conditioner, I used Bickmore's Bick 4, to put some moisture back in the leather. Depending on how long the boots have been in the box, they do dry out some. Conditioned mine with Bickmore and they look awesome. This is a very well made boot for everyday use or casual wear. This was my first pair of square toe boots so when I got them they were a little loose on my foot compared to their mignon J-toe. I put in a thicker insole and they fit fine. One might go with their D width for square toe if you wear an EE or EW in a J-toe.

I like the style and quality. Fit is usually difficult because of wide feet and high instep. The size is 10.5 wide is a very good fit for me. Loose fit for toes and snug where it needs to be so the boot doesn't ride-up when walking. Boots loosen up quickly. I have 3 pairs of Dan Post boots and they are all real good.

The first pair I ordered for my son did not even last one week before the entire bottom sole came off. We exchanged them for a second pair. The second pair lasted a whole 2 months before the same thing happened. We will not be wasting our money again on this brand. $200+ boots should not fall apart like this!

A sturdy, handsome pair of boots. These are the 2nd pair of Dan Post boots I've purchased & both I've had to purchase in a smaller size than I normally wear.

Heel broke after 1 week of wear.

They’re exactly what I was looking for. I wanted everyday boots. Not shiny, or fancy. They fit great and are very comfortable. Really they exceeded my expectations for sure.
