Sturdy and strong

Nice and sturdy, easy install. Originally I bought it for a corner shower but didn’t notice it wasn’t for that. So we had a to build a wall, which made my shower bigger anyway. I did this in my camper

Dreamline tubs and shower bases have never failed us. They come in an array of sizes and drain options, as well as colors. The base arrived well packaged, and ahead of schedule.

I had bought another brand in Home Depot for a shower add on to a half bath I have. I hated how it looked. the front was so high and it was cheap looking. I returned it and found this one on Amazon. It was so nice. The front was low and install was so easy. It looks and feels nice and it's very durable looking. I've attached pics. We love it.

Be sure to check for defects. I did not look at the underside of the drain cut out. A major void in the fiberglass made it unusable - IMO...(I suppose silicone would hold, but not taking chances..see pics ) I am still giving it 4/5. Amazon is picking up and sending me a new one. Overall quality is actually pretty good, just an oversight on this particular unit. Look it over carefully when you get it. I’m now a few days behind because I’m waiting on the new pan to arrive.

I had plumbers and drywallers standing on my shower base and commenting on it's sturdiness. It never popped or moved while they stood on it working on my shower walls. The plumber did have to move our drain even though the space measured 36x36. That cost a bit more but I am happy with the product.

The shower base is exactly 36 x 36 inches, a perfect square. The drain is centered 18 inches in width but is 15 inches in height, which is 3 inches off dead center. I tried to return the drain, the company said sure they will give me a refund, the only problem with that is the return freight was $300 and they won't pay even though it is their fault for the false advertising. I was told I should have looked at the specs, I couldn't find them on the page they were so small. Now go and look boy you can see them now. You can forget Amazon, they say just file a claim with A-Z guarantee. That's just fraud in itself. I called Amazon for 3 weeks and talked to probably 15 different people all with new lies just to get you off the phone. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED....

Once this is set in the mortar bed it is rock solid. The textured floor is nice and the lower threshold gives it a modern look. Overall very solid.

I had to return this as I needed a Center drain unit and didn’t read the specs to know that this base is only centered on one dimension; is not centered on both width and length. So, it didn’t work for me. Lesson learned in future; read the specs!
