It's winter in Ohio, and I only had a chance to use these bars once, but I was satisfied with the improvement in performance in my OKJ Highland smoker. I'll need more time to experiment with these to achieve the longest possible burn time, so I can do longer cooks.

I don't write reviews but this was disappointing. The manufacturer doesn't peel the protective film off. Having to peel the film off after it's been bent into shape is a pain. Well I was peeling the film on the inside, I flexed it a little too far and it broke at the bend. At first I just blamed myself. Looking closer at the break it is sharp. It is sharp because there is a crack at the bend. Second photo shows the weak spot in that corner. This is poor quality

Sending back. Piss poor quality. They arrive with a film all over them that you have to dig off, not to mention the cuts and Knicks that you get while doing that. And they are bent across a metal press brake and since these are so thin they break all apart while trying to get the film off....yall get you crap right people!

The metal was so thin both fell apart taking it out of the box. This is not Lava Lock brand. Sent back right away.

Bought these for my side by side refrigerator charcoal smoker. Worked like a dream. Thank you! was to big for Brinkmann off side smoker box. I will have to get a smaller size for it. Works very well.
