Replacement worked out- simple to install
This was a perfect replacement remote and transmitter. Got my fan working again. Simple to install.

Does a good job
Works as described, controls the fan & light remotely. Thermostat function controls the fan speed, high, medium & low very well. Has timer functions. Be aware that the light button is only on/off with no dimming function unless I missed how it supposed to operate. Wiring into fan housing is simple, if you know electrical diy wiring.

Great replacement remote.
Replaced the original Hampton Bay remote almost flawlessly. Only difference is the Hampton Bay logo on the original. All the same buttons, even has the same font as original. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE REMOTE: Slight differences in buttons, functions and model number will NOT work the same. Your current fan may not have the capabilities that some remote buttons offer. Other remote functions and may not apply to Your fan.

Works perfect with Hampton Bay WINDWARD IV 52-INCH CEILING FAN
I own two of the WINDWARD IV 52-INCH CEILING FANs, purchased from Home Depot in the year of 2014. Both remotes went out at the same time, from the buttons being pressed so many times. I was so happy, that I didn't have to pull the ceiling fans down and replace both the controller and remote. All I had to do, was change the DIP switches on both remotes, to match what the DIP switch settings were on the old remotes. And they both worked perfectly!! I should have just bought the remotes themselves, but thought it might be the controller. Plus, I saved $10 per set, as compared to buying them directly from Home Depot. Doesn’t work with LED Bulbs
I replaced the fluorescent bulbs in my Hampton Bay fan with these LEDs. Once turned on, the lights cannot be turned off and the fan doesn’t work at all. Everything works fine when I put back the fluorescent lights. The remote control is not compatible with the LED lights.
