Unfortunately its difficult to find the garbage can cyclone lids with four inch openings that are air tight. These work well, you just have to buy a garbage can with a lid that is compatible (they don't exist). What you end up doing is building a lid to fit. You may to better off buying the complete system.

Worth the money.
Relatively easy to install, the hardest part was cutting 4" hole on the material of your choice.The rest is just screw and tight up.Highly suggested to add a dab of silicon between the layers, or use some window seal weather strips in between.

Works well as part of a Thein Baffle dust separator
I built a separator stage for my HarborFreight 2hp dust collector. I only really needed one set of elbow/connector pieces for the inlet and these worked great. I built a Thien Baffle in the collection barrel and used a straight tube up from the center of the barrel to the blower and it worked really well. This gives much better separation than just using the two pieces in this kit in a naive approach.Now I have the extra pieces I can use to build some other dust ports for various machines.

Just Bring your own barrel!
I needed a dust collection system for a planer and bought this along side a Wen dust collector. Got a barrel off Craig's List, added a plywood top for the system, and I was in business. It worked great, very little debris made it to the bag of my dust collector and I was shocked how much wood i collected from planning.This is a great product that just needs a little creativity and effort on your part to put into action. I would highly suggest it!
