Great affordable mid-range radio for when you decide to shun all the RTR controllers for one. Not master-class but pretty much covers everything anything 'normal' RC and much more intuitive than the GT3C with far better range(which is almost dangerously low range with the GT3C). The B6 is a respectable enough basic gyro if you want to tinker(not pro-level drifting gyro, but the basics). I'm not a big gyro person on R/C with 40 years experience, but on a few bashers I put in 25% on steering only(no throttle) with 100% input override, helps that wee bit without being a notable interference, mostly helps with something like the initial few feet of a forward launch for a ramp/trick send. The inexpensive 3CH A3 receiver is price-for-price the same as the GR3 for the GT3C(these two systems are NOT compatible). I still use my GT3C(as I have two of them and 19 vehicles already tethered to the pair) but only on brushed can retro-type Tamiya models that stay close and aren't fast(and don't get out much). It's just NOT worth getting tied up buying a lot for the older low-range system. I would argue if you're average use this will cover just about everything, particularly 3ch RTR common vehicles as a replacement system. Amazing for the money. If you're building $500+ rigs to race or drift or mega speed runs, then I'd definitely go beyond the GT5 and invest properly. Bashing VXL Rustler or a 4S Outcast, you're definitely covered and a huge upgrade to a RTR radio.

I don’t know much about RC radios, but I ordered this one based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. Setup was easy and it walks you through everything. Works great with no issues. Fast shipping and I would definitely recommend

I purchased this transmitter a while ago looking for something that wouldn't break the bank but offer the adjustability similar to what $200+ dollar mainstream transmitters offer and without having to use a bulky phone connected to my transmitter. For this I have to say this transmitter delivers and then some. The adjustability is beyond my expectations. I do recommend you download the full user manual from their website and read up on what all the icons mean and how to use them. My transmitter came with a none working gyro, but after contacting the seller they helped me fix that issue right away (great seller). I have purchased several more receivers for my Losi LMT Grave Digger, Traxxas Rustler 4x4, and Traxxas Rustler 2wd, and I have to say the gyros seem to work just as well as the Traxxas Tqi did, but now I can use one transmitter for three cars and each one automatically loads and remembers the settings for each car. I like the feel of this transmitter in my hand and best of all it alerts me after a period of inactivity so I’m much less likely to forget to turn off the transmitter and kill the batteries. This is something Traxxas should have done with their TQi transmitters. The FlySky GT5 also displays the battery voltage of the transmitter so you know when the batteries are getting low and it also gives you a low battery warning too. All in all this is a very good transmitter for under $100 and I cant find anything wrong with it. The receivers are also very reasonably priced making this even more affordable. The receivers even have an antilock braking feature which I haven't really tried much yet because of the cold days here but come spring I think this is going to be useful.

Used this for racing at the rc track on my old AE B6.2 that I gave to my girlfriend. Never had to flip the antenna up while we are at the RC track. Easy to setup, nice and light for her. Latency isn't bad. I can notice the latency between this remote (is ever so slightly delayed. Barely noticable) and my flysky noble. Great entry level remote. My only complaint is that the steering wheel feels Soo close to the throttle, but I'm used to higher end remotes that space the steering wheel out further. Not a problem for her tho...

Had a slight issue but seller took care of me quickly so A+ for customer service. Now for the controller itself!! -gyro does work although If you’re buying it for that function alone I would first set it at 5% & work your way up as I found it to be very sensitive. Make sure the receiver is secured with double side tape before calibrating or else it will never function properly. Receiver must be stuck in place for the gyro to function at its best potential -Range is excellent. Goes further than I never need it to be. -D/R, EPA, EXP all work great. If you’re unsure of what these settings do or where to start YouTube or other websites will tell you -Adjusting all the settings if you need to are very easy -inside the box you’ll notice another rubber grip. The one that’s installed on the transmitter is labeled (s) on the bottom. The extra one in the box is (L) swap them around to figure out what feels the best for you, you can pull them out with your hands on the sides. Installing the new ones you start at the top & push the inserts on the way down. Kind of finicky but you’ll get it. -The foam on the wheel does move around a little. You can either glue it down or leave it. -very lightweight It’s not the best transmitter out there. But for this price it’s the best you can get. I would purchase again if need be & I recommend this controller to everyone that’s looking to upgrade
