Dr. Dennis Gross C + Collagen Brighten & Firm Vitamin C Serum: for Dull Complexion, Wrinkles, Uneven Tone and Texture, 1.0 fl oz

I'm oily and oily combination skin. Somehow most of the C product makes me even darker, after applying 3-5 mins. Not to mention without anything, my skin usually looks darker and darker starting the middle of the day. But this one actually maintained the brightness, and at least keep the same skin tone. Love it.

I'd been looking to add a vitamin C serum to my morning routine, and had previously tried products from both Aesop, Kiehl's and the Ordinary. While I continue to use other products from those brands daily, I've stuck with this Dr. Dennis Gross serum for vitamin C. I use it after I wash my face, and before applying some moisturizer (I'm partial to the "Marine" light moisturizer by Dr. Dennis Gross when I'm not looking to include an SPF). It has a bit of acidity (?) that is hard to describe, but it's a light serum that should be followed with another moisturizer. I avoid sensitive, thin areas like my under-eyes with this product, and prefer to use a dark circle cream specifically for those areas.It has kept my skin clear and evened my complexion and skin tone. Plus, it's great that it also includes collagen.I highly recommend this product.

So, I’m in my 40s and a self proclaimed “Not a product girl”. I’ve only used vit e oil on my face for years and some CeraVe cream. I have dry skin that’s only getting worse with age so I decided to do some reading and find my first product line. I joined a FB group for skincare and promptly deleted it after being shamed for my lack of skincare knowledge so I went through blogs and articles and you tubes and settled on giving this a try. Well, two days in...wow. I can SEE AND FEEL a huge difference. The serum and then the cream. I’m blown away and excited to see what happens with time. Expensive but it’s going to last for a long time with just a pea size with each use. I’m excited. I guess I’m a “product” girl now.

So far I am really liking this product. It arrived on time and in good condition. I think it has been helping my skin stay more hydrated since the colder drier air has started this season. I am looking forward to seeing how the results are after I use the full bottle. I have had this product for about two weeks now and use it twice daily.

The best one I've ever had! Notice the difference in a couple days, really works, wrinkles became invisible, skin is tighter and firmer, and its not even a week... can not wait to see my face and neck in a month... texture of the serum is very light, smells good, and feels great!

I stopped using it due to the smell. Only used at night but my pillows & sheets started to smell like it after a few nights of using it.

I can see the difference within a week of using this! I really like it! I think I will start using it only at night time or maybe put less during the day….since it makes my face a bit shiny

This product I ended up returning.Not sure how effective it was compared to other brands. I just know these serums claim to moisturize and brighten the skin. I purchased mainly for the brightening side of things. My skin has some acne pigmentation from pregnancy and I was using this product along with others to help reduce the dark appearances. I also purchased this cause I heard about this brand and received good feedback: I read the reviews as well and decided to make the splurge and purchase.first off, this is WAY to pricy to have little to no improvement. It’s a small bottle. Yes, a little goes a long way but still is insanely overpriced. And I’ve bought TONS of products of similar size more expensive and worth it. Second, it’s extremely sticky…. Like never goes away: I can wait 2 plus hours and when I go to sleep my pillow literally sticks to my face. It’s almost like it just sits on my face.. never actually absorbing into my skin, therefore helping me NONE. Last and one of this biggest issues immediately upon opening… THIS PRODUCTS SMELLS AWFUL!! I mean just horrible: you smell it all night long. It doesn’t absorb so it’s just constant: my husband didn’t even want to kiss me cause it smelled so bad. Don’t get me wrong, “good” products don’t need to be a lovely smell to do the job, but it wasn’t even doing that. So between the smell, price and the fact it didn’t do what It’s suppose to, this item went straight back! I wouldn’t recommend this product or even this brand… I did also purchased the same brand in the chemical peel wipes and the AHA face cleanser… those went back as well. Peel did nothing for me. I have way better options instead (drunk elephant peel $80 or the ordinary brand peel $10) the face cleanser gives your face a nice feel after use, but it smells like it’s a bar of soap mixed with water. Also it was $40 so no that was not worth the price either. *** I’ll also add that I do not have bad acne: I didn’t have many breakouts prior to pregnancy. Pregnancy I had multiple in the same spots making some darker marks. All surface acne. No deep scaring whatsoever and it only is on my cheeks and chin minimally: my acne is very minor and it didn’t even cure my issue in the slightest. Just a little tip for anyone who has it like me or worse, just do yourself and skip over this! The best thing I Can tell you, suck it up and spend the money at a dermatologist. I got put on a gel and pill that helped so well and QUICK! Beats wasting money and your time on products that might work or make you break out worse.
