It's interesting. The bottle arrived to me fine. The metal box was a bit banged up, but considering the shipment had to cross the Atlantic to get to me, and the main task of the box is to protect its fragile contents, it completed it successfully. The bottle and magnets are safe and sound.The ferrofluid display:On the upside, this one seems very resistant to staining (for now). When it arrived, it had a ferrofluid stain in the upper left corner due to a magnet being in that area while it was in box. Now that stain is almost completely gone.On the downside:The cap was not sealed to the max although it was screwed in sufficiently so as not to allow any ferrofluid or suspension liquid to flow out.Another thing is that at least my unit does not actually form spikes. Instead, this ferrofluid forms shapes that more closely resemble petals. Like on flowers. That is beautiful in a way and different from my other ferrofluid displays, so I am keeping this one, however from another point of view this is not what everyone else seems to get and not what is advertised.I think the deal with my unit is that they went a bit too heavy on the gold coating and therefore the ferrofluid is a bit more tacky. My unit's ferrofluid seems a bit more viscous or having a lot more surface tension against the suspension liquid compared to my other ferrofluid displays. Or it could have some other cause.

This is a very fun way to play with, study, and demonstrate magnetism. The customer service is also fantastic, I am very much impressed. I ordered this in both gold and black, they are a lot of fun and a good way to relieve stress. I have managed to get friends and co-workers interested in magnets with these kits, they are hard not to fall in love with.

This bottle of magic provides me with hours of stress relief. Very good quality and it comes in a nice reusable box, which is cool. Makes a great holiday gift. I’m really pleased with my purchase!

This thing is awesome! So much fun to play with. My son loves it too. Worth every penny if you’re into magnetic fun. Comes with two large magnets and a chain of tiny ones too. They have different effects, both are fascinating to observe.

This thing is amazing! It looks beautiful and responds well to the magnets. Makes many designs and can play with it for hours with my daughter. It even taught her about the science of magnetic fields.

Not as pictured. The fluid is the color of a tarnished penny, not golden as in the picture. Still cool and worth having, but seller is misleading buyers.

These solved a storage problem in our very small kitchen. Work great, am buying more.

Pretty neat. The ferrofluid like stuff is a bit more stiff than other ferrofluid so you can't see all of the little spikes you would normally see.
