Heres a review from a 47 year old, ex bodybuilder... This stuff is excellent for the price, period. It mixes easily with very few clumps... you're going to get small clumps from any product you use unless you mix for ten minutes... It doesnt smell like anything but protein powder you rookies. It only has 4 carbs per serving if used with water, hence the lack of super sweet taste others complain of, they say its bland. Sure its a little bland, it only has four carbs, good for any Atkins or low carb dieter and includes some aminos too. This much for this price at 4 carbs per serving makes this an absolute steal and at only four carbs you add a little syrup if you arent completely dedicated to diet. The only problem I see with this is that it takes a tractor to remove the lid from the container lol... easy fix, add some to a smaller readily accessible container instead of keeping a ten pound bucket on your counter. There is no problem with this protein at all, its fine and it what it says it is. I'm not a beneficiary of this product, just a realist, have no fear with this powder. Expect a very light chocolate tasting protein with few carbs and good aminos in a hard to open large container.... There, now your fears are put to rest. Its a good deal and I'll buy again....

Hi everyone. To be upfront, I would have given this tranaction with Discount Retailers a 5-Star Review. The reason why it is 4 Stars is due to the fact that Discount Retailers messed up my Order. I ordered Strawberry, but they sent me Vanilla instead. I didn't feel like going through the process of returning my Order and in turn receiving what I actually ordered. With that said, since I have the Vanilla, I figured I would give a review on the Vanilla. Bottom line, its excellent. I have a Vitamix blender and it blends very nicely, whether you use Milk, Rice Drink, or Coconut Drink. It goes down smooth, no aftertaste. I can only imagine how good the Strawberry would taste. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Big Lift Whey Protein.

Best tasting protein I've had the couple years I've been lifting. The strawberry tastes like unsweetened cap'n crunch crunch berries. The vanilla is pleasant, light vanilla tasting. Everyone who takes protein knows the typical cheap vanilla protein powder taste. This is much better. The texture is slightly chalky, which I love. When mixing with water it gets a bit foamy towards the end.. But 25 grams of protein, 5 grams of bcaas, and 3 grams of glutamine per scoop, makes this my protein of choice.

I usually like MP or heck even 5 Star if I need something cheap locally, but this stuff has to be the worst tasting stuff I have ever had. My wife texted me, "did you try any of that protein today? It was horrible! But maybe I added to much water?". So like a good husband, this morning i tried our brand new Big Lift protein powder. In a nut shell, holy mother of all that is disgusting on this earth. I smelt it first. It smells like coco powder mixed with chemicals. So I drank it to see if it tasted better than it smells...(like sauerkraut) and wow...this has got to be like drinking the residue out of a drain pipe at a chocolate factory washing sink. Terrible. Listen I was in the Army and ate Army food and even bugs before...bugs....and none of that tasted as bad as this. Stay away until this company learns how to make something taste good. Too all the reviewers that claim its good, please seek medical attention for your taste buds because you may have hypogeusia.

Not a big fan of any aspect of this product unfortunately. I feel the bucket is about as frustrating as you can imagine. The flavor (chocolate) tastes about like an unsweetened pack of cocoa(not in a good way). About the only thing keeping this from being a 1 star review is the "mixability" and the cost which is understandable now. After taking the first few scoops I transferred the powder into an old protein tub because I was already tired of almost ripping my finger nails off trying to open a bucket of whey. Would return this flavor but I don't feel like going through the hassle of putting it back in that bucket just to return it.

I ordered Chocolate one, it dissolves in milk pretty good and fast, but it has almost no taste.Might be a good choice if you like to cook and use a lot of protein for that (pancakes, fitness desserts, protein bars, etc), but if you are just looking for a protein supplement with nice taste, find something different.

Cheap protein supplement. One scoop has 25 g of protein but it doesn't disclosure the exactly amount of each type of whey (concentrate/isolate/hydrolyzed) they used. The pail is a hassle to open and the "fanny" part is the taste (strawberry) or the absence of the same...it's just tasteless. Not buying again.

Tastes like bone meal. The nutrients are 4 stars the taste is 0 stars.
