EXCELLENT VALUE
Easily the best crash cymbal I've bought for less than $100. Just get one for your cymbal rotation at least

OMG? Who is WUHAN cymbals? I'm glad I found these AMAZING cymbals.
The media could not be loaded. First off - I am a REAL person, I PAID for these cymbals, not a free set to review, I live in the DC area and I do not work for Amazon or WUHAN.Now, I took a break from drums for the past few years and I sold off my brass but kept my shells. I previously had Zildjian A's and K's. I am not sure if I will stick with playing, so I did not want to spend much with my latest "itch" to play again. I found these on Amazon for less than $180 for a crash set of 16"/18". I was hoping they would be better than ZBT's, but what I was not expecting was that they would be equivalent to A Customs. That's right, these could compare to Zildjian A customs for crash cymbals.Let me start of my saying they are all brass, heavy but not insanely thick like some cheap cymbals are, they have enough give to shimmer like the A-set I had before, but not so thin that you worry you will break them. It seems like this is WUHAN's answer to A Customs, and man they came so close, close enough that I will keep these even if I stick with playing for years to come. Obviously Chinese knock-off's, but they got these right, and they are very good cymbals. I considered rubbing off the name too see if I could fool people, but heck, I am glad I saved the money and I will let the sound speak for itself. The 16" is bright but not overly harsh, it can cut through a mix easy when needed, and it can also be soft and gentle if you play it that way. It has the perfect rock crash of 1980's/1990's rock songs most drummers of that era used. I would buy again, and I would highly recommend to someone looking to save some $$$ when upgrading from beginner cymbals.Great work WUHAN, whoever you are :) A++, you can always return if you do not agree with my review, that was my plan if they sucked. These are NOT going back, they will remain on my kit. Best part is if I wear them out, I won't worry when it is time to replace them.

LOVE WUHAN CYMBALS AND GONGS
Wuhan cymbals are some of the best deals on the planet. These have a much more decided GONG type sound than Zildjian models of the same size and thickness. They sound fantastic when played with mallets.Don't be confused by the insane low prices on Wuhan cymbals, they are made in the "old school" way, premium alloys and lots of hand labor and love. These blow away the cheapie offerings by Zildjian, Paiste and Sabian (you know the ones that are reasonably priced?). I've never heard a Zildjian ZBT-anything that sounded good much less in the ballpark with these Wuhan. My studio drum set stays in place year round and we record for people all over the world. We have over a dozen premium Zildjian and Sabian models in our kit but we now have three Wuhan crash/gongs, 10", 16" and 18" plus two Wuhan China type. Guest drummers often remark how nice the 18" Wuhan sounds, then I tell them it's a Wuhan and they do a double take because it sounds so good.I'd love to have a big Wuhan Chau gong but they're still a bit out of my price range, at least until we get a customer who really wants a BIG gong recorded.Buy a Wuhan cymbal and hear for yourself, they're awesome.Good music to all!

Amazing B20 Alloy Value
The Wuhan 16 Gong Crash is, surprisingly, made of B20 Alloy, the same as the higher end lines from Sabian, Zildjian, Mienl and other cymbal companies. As all Wuhan cymbals, this is hand hammered and has a Chinese trashy sound with a lot of character and attitude. The hand hammering is something that most cymbal companies don't offer except for the expensive, high end cymbals lines.I feel it would be great if used as an auxiliary or secondary cymbal, not as a main.It would also work well if hit simultaneously with another main cymbal, like a higher end Sabian or Zildjian etc...The 2 sounds would blend perfectly together for a beautiful yet raw sound with the trashy medium decay of the initial hit and nice ring out of the main cymbal. For a fraction of the cost of other cymbals on the market in the B20 lines, it's a win win in my mind. This cymbal has pros and cons but using that knowledge can create an awesome and unique sounding drum set.The pictures I submitted are when I first received the cymbal. The second is after I hand polished and removed the black lettering

16 inch Wuhan Crash sounds great, at a great price!
The media could not be loaded. I like mostly punk and this cymbal seems to fall in line with the music I like. I'm not very good yet, but in my video I have the 10" Wuhan splash, the 12" Wuhan splash, and the 16" Wuhan crash. I am overall very satisfied with Wuhan cymbals. All I need now is a decent ride cymbal.

Awesome cymbal!
I have been a drummer for five years and have always been on a tight budget with my drumming. So after reviewing all kinds of cymbals withing my budget i came across the Wuhan, I have played the wuhan chinas and they sound awesome for the price. So i decided why not try the crash, I LOVE this thing. it gives me a nice crisp tone and has a pleasant ring to it. Id definently buy this again!

Wuhan 16in Crash
In short, I love this cymbal. I have Wuhan 8, 10, and 12in splash, 14in China, 16in crash (now) and 18in Crash/ride. I love the sounds these cymbals produce. They are definitely loud, but they seem to work well with most types of music. I am in a horror-rock-punk band, but I also enjoy jamming country, classic rock and pop as well. They seem to work well in the genres I have played. This cymbal looks great. Sounds great. Great bang for your buck. How can you lose?Buy it.
