It's really a thermos or insulated cup! It keeps my coffee HOT for HOURS!!!! It would be incredible as a gift! Totally worth the money. I love that I was able to personalize and keep the message I chose within reach. It's really easy to quickly wash and rinse. It's size is nice and big so quite a lot of coffee, other beverages, or even soups of your choice would be easily accommodated.
