Qmote S (Gray Obsidian) for iOS/Android - The One Button to Rule Them All

I bought two of these as the first one I got didn't work at all. This is the second one which came today and again "qmote not found" error. Yet my phones bluetooth works fine pairing up to my headphones and apple watch. Real bad product when two of your items come DoA. Even watched the youtube video to see if I perhaps I forgot to do something because its super hard to just click a button to pair to a phone.

Qmote is a programmable remote control for your smartphone. It can activate all sorts of tasks: press snooze on your phone's alarm – just 10 more minutes – start up Siri, sound an alarm on your phone so you can find it, start navigation in the satnav function and flick through slides in a presentation. There are a ton of other possible functions including activating the shutter of your phone's camera, sending your current location and recording audio. It looks like guitars pick, and has a brushed metal shell. There's only one button. Obviously you'll need to set it up. To do so, jump into the app and assign a function. It's not ideal, as you'll have to do so every time you want to change its use. But there's no way around it. And it helps keep the Qmote itself nice and simple. It could also be very useful if you have wet hands and don't want to touch your expensive new phone. Fantastic price and excellent purchase. I will admit that I was a little skeptical about this product when it arrived, but after using it, I am so glad that I got it and I will recommend it to everyone I know. How easy this is too use! I am horrible when it comes to anything electronic and my daughter usually has to help me out but this Qmote was just plain simple! I took it out of it's packaging, which by the was was a very nice box that had a plastic box inside and the remote. I followed the directions that were included and it hooked right up to my iphone. You just follow the instructions on the app screen it shows little dots and dots and dashes to represent the clicks. There a list of items such as home screen, calls, navigation or photo you can assign a click. Example I have 2 clicks assigned to music so 2 clicks will start it and 2 clicks stop it. 6 clicks will rang your phone if you need find it. it has 10 different clicks to controls almost everything in your phone. I received the Qmote S device not really knowing what it was or how to use it. I received this oval shaped device with a clip. Ok I thought so what does it do. I looked at the box and directions and realized I need to pair to my phone so there had to be a app. The box also gave me a idea of how this worked. The device keeps you from taking out your phone it communicates to phone by click actions. I downloaded the app to my iPhone 6 and it was quite easy even the pairing was taking care of by the app. You just follow the instructions on the app screen it shows little dots and dots and dashes to represent the clicks. There a list of items such as home screen, calls, navigation or photo you can assign a click. Example I have 3 clicks assigned to music so 3 clicks will start it and 3 clicks stop it. I use it as my siri button, camera click, play/pause music, finding my phone and even turning on/off light through Wemo switch. One small piece can be programmed to do so many things. Definitely love it.I carry it on my key chain and it really work for me.
