Handy and simple to use
I am very impressed with the battery charger. It can charge either AA or AAA in size. The way in which it does this is by having two different size clips for the batteries within each slot. The batteries are securely held in place by these as it charges them. The device has space for 4 batteries and is quite sturdy in its build. It has a very easy to read LCD display which shows your when you batteries are charging and their charge level. The machine is also compatible with other rechargeable batteries of the same size, so long as they are not alkaline based. The only downside is that this is a USB c attachment that does not come with a plug.I am very please with this charger and recommend it.

Super little charger that is as fast as it claims
The EBL fast charger is supplied in easily opened plastic packaging that I will be using for on-going storage. The set includes the charger, a USB A to Micro USB charge cable, some good instructions and a 'thank you' card. The charger can accommodate up to 4 AAA rechargeable batteries or up to 4 AA rechargeable batteries or any combination thereof (e.g. 2 of each or 1 and 3). It works really well and charged the supplied 2xAAA and 2xAA batteries in under 4 hours. It also happily charged various miscellaneous rechargeable AAA and AA batteries that I happened to have lying about on the day of the test. It also correctly identified, and would not charge, a couple of duds that I deliberately tried, which is good to know. The charger does require that you plug into a USB socket or USB power plug. I have a number of these and it happily worked with all the ones I tried, from old phone and tablet chargers to a dedicated Belkin model. There is also the option to use a USB A to USB C lead, (both inputs are available on the charger) but you will need to supply your own lead.I think this charger is just brilliant. I especially like the digital graphics that show progress in real time and indicates full charge when complete. It is compact and would be a useful travel companion. The supplied batteries are 1100 mAh for the AAAs and 2800 mAh for the AAs. This means better than average runtime. It is ideal for my Pentax SLR that takes 4 AA batteries as standard. More EBL batteries are readily available on the Amazon shopping site should you need them. Various quantities are available including a good value pack of 12 AA and 12 AAA rechargeable batteries. The batteries also hold their charge well in storage so it is possible to have several sets charged up ready for use. This charger is a bit of a bargain at the current price and bear in mind you get over £5 worth of rechargeable batteries thrown in. It works really well and I can find nothing to fault. Perhaps its only limitation is that it can only charge 4 batteries at a time but the larger capacity alternatives do not have the digital read out. In any case, it can process 4 batteries in about 4 hours and therefore can still charge 8-12 batteries in a waking day. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I've been using EBLs for a few years now
For a four bay charger this is a very good one as it can take both AAs and AAAs or a mix of 2+2 or even 3+1.It is unusual to see a four bay that can charge single batteries, two batteries, three batteries or all four and allow them to be mixed. Usually small chargers like this allow for batches of twos and don't allow for a single battery to be charged.I have been using EBLs for a few years now and find their chragers and their batteries to be reliable. The AAs that come with this charger are 1100mAh, which is almost double the capacity of many rechargeables and all disposables of which even the most popular brands of disposables only hold 600mAh. The AAs are 2800mAh batteries and once again are around double the capacity of top brand diposables.Even though rechargeables are initially more expensive when considering their first charge and the capacity of energy stored the price works out around the same price as two disposables for one rechargeable but when also considering the double capacity they are therefore around the same price but with rechargeables costing pennines or even free to recharge. To recharge batteries for free simply plug the charger into a spare USB Port on a TV or a PC as those two items in particular waste energy through the USB Ports as they have them permanently powered up so the POrts drain energy that isn't used. As many devices waste energy through the USB POrts it is therefore costing not a penny to recharge batteries through those Ports. The charger is weel built and good quality so it will last a long time, as I find EBLs normally do. Each charging cell has it's own indicator so one can charge batteries in different stages of depletion. Now for the batteries... the batteries being EBL hold their charge well and easily manage well with energy hungry devices such as cameras. They are big money savers as they can easily save £100s per year when compared to the cost of disposables and that is per battery.I am recommending this charger and battery set as it looks good, the quality is good, the potentialo savings are excellent and EBL is a reliable brand thus this product is very good value.
