Good product, good USA company -- this item is just a little awkward in my hand
I like this product's gel squirt. It fires further than the first Sabre Red that I first bought that is not a gel. But, although my first Sabre Red is the spray, but not gel, it is easier to hold in my hand and spray. The first one that I bought is a narrow straight cylinder can (about the same size). It's just easier to hold and flick to the on position in a split second. I do like the gel squirt better, but the old small thin can one was easier to maneuver in one hand. I really do like the Sabre Red products. They are made in the USA. I think they are a very good price. Plus, if you go to the Sabre Red website, there are many safety videos to watch. I think this is a very good company and product. I buy the Sabre Red products because I prefer to carry a non-lethal weapon. I've never had to use any of my sprays, but I almost always have one of the three that I own on my person for protection ... just in case.

Like it, but read review for Gel vs Sprays
I like this company's products. I have their pepper spray in several designs. This is my first experience with Gel type. On test fire I realized you have to give it a couple practice sprays. My first went 1 1/2' higher than I thought I had aimed. I am better than average pistol shot so I was surprised by point of impact. I did notice just a bit of residual in the air when sprayed but less than with liquid spray type. This Gel sticks to surfaces so it is not going to hit and fall away or run. Gel and spray each have their advantages. I have both and cannot recommend one over the other. Gel requires better accuracy, but much less wind drift. Sprays come in stream type which were similar to Gel traits. Sprays also come in more popular conical spray pattern which is point and press as spray fans out making exact accuracy unnecessary, but is more subject to wind drift.

Great
I haven't used it which is a good thing but it always makes me feel a bit more safe as a woman walking from place to place. Went to a concert and they made me throw my old pepper spray out so I bought a new one and it was just like the previous one I had. I like that it has a safety lock so you don't go spraying randomly.
