Didn't "attract" bugs. Only thing it zapped were a few (VERY few) tiny little fruit-type flies - something that the old CFL bulbs did just as well.Not worth the money, in my opinion. And the light that it put out was also nothing to brag about. Was a weird color - gave me a headache. Ended up buying a standard 3-way bulb for my lamp.

Light Burns Out Too Soon
I've ordered this bulb twice, the light portion only lasts 9 months and then only the bug zapper works. Ran the bulb on a timer so it came on in the evening for 3 hours and then on for 15 minutes each hour over night to kill mosquitoes. I need both the light and bug zapper so I won't be ordering these again.
