Limited vinyl LP pressing. 2016 release, the seventh studio album from the British Alt-Rock band fronted by Brett Anderson. Night Thoughts is the band's follow-up to 2013's Bloodsports, which was their first studio release since they reunited in 2010. Night Thoughts was recorded in London and Brussels with longtime producer Ed Buller. The album deals with a lot of familial themes - life, death, love, anguish and despair. Includes the tracks ' What I'm Trying To Tell You', 'When You Are Young' and 'Outsiders'.

A more mature Suede
This is a fantastic album. Their best work in a long time, although Bloodsports was very good and a major improvement over A New Morning. The overall lyrical content is the best of all the post Bernard Butler albums, not that the others were devoid of a few gems. Musically, Night Thoughts is as sound as the rest of the Suede discography. One or two of the songs may be good outside the context of the whole album, while others don't exactly work at well on their own. That doesn't mean those songs are bad, it just means they work better in the flow of the album as a whole - like pieces of a puzzle.Well done, Suede!

Their best release in many years - all Suede fans should own this one!
Awesome album -- their best since "Coming Up" IMHO (I own all their albums). Tonally it's more akin to "Dog Man Star": grand, operatic and ambitious and contains some of Brett's best singing and lyrics (he didn't phone these performances in like he did for "Head Music" and "A New Morning").I love vinyl, but this album is meant to be listened to in one sitting, so highly recommend the deluxe CD configuration as it contains the album one one CD and the conceptual film on another DVD included. There's also a very nicely designed booklet that comes with the deluxe edition that compliments the music.

Fantastic
I thought I'd left new music behind....or rather it left me; retreating to the safety of Ziggy and reassurance of Revolver. Depressed by the ease of skipping tracks I attempted to reconnect with music through this album. Listen in isolation without the pull of tech distractions and you will be rewarded with music that makes you think. Well done Suede.

Masterpiece!
Yes it is, without any doubt their best work but it might take a few listens before you realise it. It's sounding so rich, the songs are so strong, I really love this recording.

Night thoughts moving and tragic
The music has elements of Suede but very different for them. The albums music is well suited for this tragic movie. Brought the Japanese double album because I am a fan.
