I Am a Stormtrooper (Star Wars) (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – Picture Book, January 3, 2017

We have most of the Star Wars "I am..." series books and every one of them is great for us. My son is almost four and when bedtime stories are over he always asks for another book and another book. These are the answer! They have few words on each page, so I can keep the pages flipping by pretty fast when I need to. I think our favorite might be the Wookie one. My son loves Darth Vader too though, but I think he might be confused by why they keep calling him a bad guy, lol. The bad guy books like this one might make you apprehensive for a kid this young, but I think they do pretty well to bring it around and end on a positive note. My son has a ton of Golden Books, but right now this series reigns supreme among all our Star Wars books or Golden Books.

My daughter was stormtrooper for story book parade and this book was cute and perfect

We have most of the Star Wars Golden Books at this point, so obviously had to add it to the library. A fun little reference for different trooper types. Our 5 yo enjoys reading it at least once a week.

This book is obviously written by a rebel. It calls the stormtroopers 'evil' and goes on to take about the traitorous FN-2187 becoming a hero for the resistance. This book only exists to sway neutral systems into thinking the Empire is evil.In all seriousness, this book has cute illustrations and entertained my toddler for a few minutes. It's made in the same way that the other books in this series are made and they do stand up to abuse from toddler play/reading.

It was exactly what I expected

A great addition to the series that keeps in step with the others in both art style and structure. The books does great at talking about some of the trooper types and describing what they do. While you can't expect them to cover all the different ones, they seemed to focus a little too hard on Phasma and FN-2187. Honestly they could have left those two out and used the pages to cover more types instead of basically labeling troopers as generally dumb. The only exception of course was FN-2187 who they went out of their way to make it sound like he's the only one smart enough to join the good guys (Resistance). They only barely touched on Vader's redemption in the Sith book, so why call so much attention to FN-2187's here? I know that's nitpicking for a Little Golden Book, but really that's the book's only stumble. Overall it's a great book that my kid really enjoyed.

My 5 y.o. Grandson loves this series.

Product was as expected

Another great Golden Star Wars book. We got an almost complete collection these high quality hard bound books now. Obviously our childeren (and Dad) are big Star Wars fans so its great that they can experience and share stuff from the movies in this format.I continue to be surpised how well the key elements of each movie, or sub-story in this case, are captures in the few colourful, funny pages of each book.This book provides an overview of the wide variety of clones and troopers. But it also takes you through Finn’s exploits as a storm trooper
