This is a very good quality well made soldering iron and a great replacement for my old unit.

Good value.
Bought as a replacement for another oneThese are a good value soldering iron which work as well as any other I've used.The Iron part is attached to the handle with a plastic threaded sleeve which broke on my last one after about 4 years of 3 - 4 ,hours a week use. Hence 4 stars.

Nicer iron
Slightly better quality iron than the standard 907A and very easily converted to the 40W element that the 907A uses. Better lead, nice floppy heatproof silicone flex, slots into the stand better, feels a bit more solid, funky colour. Hard to really put your finger on but just slightly nicer all round if you often have to solder stuff.
