The Best Way to Replace Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro Joysticks
Thustmaster's eSwap X Pro's joysticks are notorious for not lasting very long before needing replaced. This is the way to remedy that problem in the least expensive way possible, while providing greater quality, all while using your original colour pack housings. It does require some assembly, but the tool required to do that comes in the little metal tin right along with the module. You don't have to go digging around in a toolbox or haul off to the hardware store to get one because it's included! The tiny screws and grommets which are used to attach the module to the housing are tiny, and can easily get lost, which would require you to get a whole new module, but if you just put them in the tin that the module came in, you'll reduce the chances of losing them significantly. The Philips screwdriver which comes with the kit has a magnetic tip, which makes it easier to pick up the screws, and to get them seated into their proper holes. This module will work in the original stick housing, or with any of the colour pack housings, including the LED Crystal colour Pack housings. This means you do not have to buy an entire new joystick or colour pack. The biggest payoff is in the quality of the joystick module. It takes a lot longer for these modules to wear out than it does for the ones which come with the Thrustmaster eSwap X PRO. That means you pay less for the module than you would for an entire new joystick, and since it lasts longer, you save money over time too.The only caveat I have is that these modules are quite a bit more stiff than the ones which came with the original joysticks. Though most people will not find this a problem, some might, especially if you have unusually weak hands.Tip: to get the longest life out of either the original joystick modules, or these replacement modules, always put your Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro Joysticks back in the box it came in using the packing that was in the box when you finish a play session. This will assure that the stick remains perfectly centred with no tension on the springs in the module, and ensuring that it will last longer. I cannot overstate how much this will help the longevity of your joysticks!Tip: The little tin which these modules come in are really high quality tins. They are probably higher quality than they need to be. When you are done replacing the module, you'll want to throw away the old, malfunctioning one, but that leaves you with a really nice tin with a window in the top. I save these tins and put other things in them. The window lets you easily see what is in the tin, making perfect storage for all sorts of small household items. Some examples of how I use them are; as a button box, a box to store screws or nails of the same size in, T splitters, check valves, and air regulation valves for my aquariums, end numerous other small items. It's sort of a bonus item which comes with your replacement modules!

Came with dead spots in the sticks.. what good is having increased tension if they are not usable
Both modules are unusable tried to calibrate multiple times but they still have dead areas in the sticks making them completely unusable

Perfect
Exactly what I needed. More tension so I could use longer sticks. Easily replaceable and worked perfect right away.

Not working right
Mine is not working as intended, definitely has more tension and I really really wanted this to work but it’s like I got the stick pulled down and to the left without even touching it
