Cheap but effective
These are basic LEDs and the quality of the strip is quite low. Whilst dimmable the power supply gave a noticeable hum at low brightness but this would be OK if it was in a cupboard (as ours was). The cable is ridiculously short so if you are planning on mounting to the ceiling you will need a power supply that's very close to it. The big selling point is the WiFi connection and ability to link to Google assistant which we did and from that perspective they worked very well. Lights are bright and the link to the Tuya smart app is good. The remote is basic. Overall I would say worth the money but if you can stretch to another tenner then use it to get better quality LEDs. I have bought other similar sets for around £25 and there is a noticeable difference but as they say you get what you pay for and these are certainly worth their price so I am happy with them

Connections off
One was okay the second half loose connection so the colour is off didn't notice until after I'd stuck it up as its okay at some angles, others the blue light is off.

Very impressive for the price
I bought this to go above the desk on my daughter's cabin bed in a north-facing room. The brightness is good but not blinding. The range of colours is really impressive and ti responds with may 0.5s of lag on my network.I paired it with a conbee ii zigbee stick on home assistant and it worked perfectly first time.I've got the Hue equivalents of this in my kitchen and I'd say this product is 80-90% as good as those.I haven't tried matching specific light colours between this and Hue, but wouldn't expect it will work very well. It's nice to be able to power it off a USB adaptor. The USB cable is too short for most uses IMO so I would buy a cheap USB extension to go with it.The connector between the light strip and the USB cable is very poor, it will fall out under its own weight, and came out several times when I was first putting it up. Once installed, it's not a problem, but it's here that you where savings were made.I've had it installed for two weeks and have had no connectivity issues or other problems so far.

LED striplight
The LED's flicker and the colour isn't consistent along the strip when they're on. This only happens when I choose white though. All the other colours are fine. Main problem was I couldn't get the lights to enter pairing mode via the instructions enclosed. Pressing the controller for 5 seconds wasn't working. Ended up breaking the controller box open and found that a blob of solder on the circuit board was stopping the button inside from being pressed. I had to file away some of the solder and then press the button on the actual circuit board, which then worked and was able to sync with the Tuya app and Alexa. I won't buy these again.

They work well
I used these to add some colour to my network cabinet and think they do the job quite nicely. They work with Smart life and Alexa and also have a remote control so you can control them using that if you wish.

Ok hue alternative but issues later
As a zig e strip light this is a good alternative to hue. It’s waterproof and 2m and adheres reasonably well. Work fine to start but after 6 months started to lose zigbe connection and requires frequent reset and re-add u til it won’t work anymore. Not possibleTo just buy a replacement controller sadly as it’s just the cheap circuits in controllerTo fault

Flickers above 80% brightness
Was easy to connect to WiFi and control via your mobile and Alexa. Main issue is I tested they worked then stuck them to the back of the TV (it is very sticky). The problem is if the brightness is over 80% there is a very annoying flicker on the lights, I can live with that for a back-light as I can't easily remove them to return the lights.

Bargain LED light strip
I bought two of these for ambient lighting behind a TV and monitor. The lights are bright, and the colour range is great. After resetting, they were easy to pair with a Smartthings Hub to enable automations. They can be cut easily and connected with 6-pin connectors found on eBay. You'll need to remove the protective top coating first. I recommend placing the strip on a flat surface and peeling small sections at a time to avoid damaging the LEDs.
