Irritated lids rejoice! Bonus even for raccoons
Skincare junkie, here.I’ve gone through a ridiculous number of products in the last several years and research like crazy trying to get my skincare routine right. Let’s go over my vast array of weird issues so I can explain why the Peeper Keeper is my holy grail of eye products!- My eyes are pretty sensitive, apparently. Worn day or night, even the most basic products (e.g. avene, cetaphill) cause stingy, itchy, gooey/crusty, watery, blurry, and/or dry eyes.- I wear contact lenses (including to sleep, per my eye doc) and don’t want my constant use of eyedrops to pull any external-use-only products in there, obviously, because ouch.- I am now a month into Accutane, so my entire situation is much dryer overall.- Whenever I crash, chronic illness style, I get these hollow, dusky purple rings around my eyes that make me look like a Victorian-era ghost. The aesthetic side effects of low blood pressure is not something I should ever expect an eye cream to solve — unless we’re talking about concealer, which I do not bother with for all the above reasons and more (or maybe I just like it when everybody tells me I look horribly exhausted, who’s to say).Despite sensitivity & purpling, I do not deal with swelling, wrinkles, or under-eye bags… which actually makes it more challenging to find eye products that actually target any of my concerns, as everything seems to be marketed for “de-puffing” and not “de-vampiring” (the nerve!).Before Peeper Keeper, I was using Alpyn Instant Bright dark circle firming eye cream, because 1. it didn’t irritate my eyes at all, and 2. the slight pink tint neutralized the purple almost entirely, which was cool. It’s lightweight and frag-free etc., all good things, but it’s very expensive, and it isn’t moisturizing enough for me.Enter Peeper Keeper (discovered while reading an article about 2024 eye creams, I think?):- Non-irritating for sensitive eyes- Very moisturizing- Fragrance-free- Silky smooooooth, applies like soft butter to hot toast- Doesn’t flake- Doesn’t pill- (Mostly) impervious to eyedrops & sobbing- Unique- Simple formula- Adorable name- Great valueAs I said at the start, this stuff is the only actual holy grail I’ve ever found for the skin around my eyes, and absolutely need to keep it in my skincare regimen, especially for overnight care. The moisturizing & soothing qualities of this stuff have significantly lessened irritation & redness around my eyes, which has actually somehow managed to tone down the purple a bit. I would honestly put this all over my face if I wasn’t acne-prone. I personally could not ask for more from an eye care product.THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:***Coconut oil is one of the most pore-clogging ingredients on the market, so if you have acne-prone skin as I do, do not put this anywhere on your face that gets zits, or you WILL break out (under eyes & eyelids up to brows has been fine for me). If you get milia as well, you might want to opt for something less comedogenic. ***I personally love a good glossy, rich emollient, especially when it manages to have all the oily goodness without feeling greasy. I like to ~slather~ this one on like a buttery blanket, but to echo other, a little does indeed go a long way.If you’re not keen on rocking glazed donut lids during the day, just use it very sparingly, and tap a bit of (eye-safe) mattifying/translucent powder on top.On the rare occasion I wear mascara, I’ll put this magic ointment around my eyes first, and voilà, every imminent smudge slides off effortlessly. It may also be too melty to work under other makeup, but feel free to try (and report back!).Highly recommend. 10/10. Get it.

My forever go-to now
Have ordered this brand of eye balm several times, specifically to use on my eyelids. I have tried many many other products and truly this is the best for me with consistent results. I smooth this soft balm over my entire eyelid. The eyelid itself is soothed and any dry or wrinkly upper eye skin is smoothed out and supple. I have used this during bouts of eyelid excema as well as healthy days. No scent, only smooth soft balm-not goopy or heavy, never runs or seeps later into my eyes. I do apply eyeshadows and eyeliners after a couple minutes with no problem. No reason for me to try any other brand now

A product that does what it says
It works! My eyelids were so dry and Crusty. I was so upset. Regular cream did not help. I ordered this and no kidding,in one night, they were soft and the dryness gone. Great stuff! Highly recommend.

These creams refresh in good and different ways.
I use these creams at various times. I like them because they don’t include harsh anti aging ingredients The balm is nice for smoothing under make up and lasting during the night. The caffeine cream is gentle and does slightly smooth puffiness. The brightening anti aging is also gentle . None of these dry or irritate the delicate under eye areas. All refresh the under eye and feel good!

Peeper Keeper Bright Eyes Riche is a Keeper!
I don't leave many reviews, but I was motivated to leave one for Peeper Keeper Bright Eyes Riche because it is an amazing moisturizer for around the eyes (and elsewhere on the face)! Firstly, it gets the job done. Secondly, it blends in well with foundation and doesn't appear shiny/glossy as many other moisturizing products do. Thirdly, it doesn't irritate my eyes. I've tried a number of other products, ranging from $40 to $200, and this one's the best!

Eye relief
I ran out of my previous eye balm the day before I learned of a friend’s death. After a day of weeping, my eyes were red and dried and sore, so I ordered this, primarily because it could arrive quickly. I was relieved to find it not only works very well, but it is nearly scent-free. I have a problem with string scents. This has a faintly sweet scent; it really smells like honey. It is slightly greasy, but cleans off hands easily.

Chapstick for eyes
I'm taking a diuretic and it is causing problems with dry, flaky eyelids. This helps keep eyelids moisturized. Does not irritate eyes at all. Usually, I apply generous amount at night before bed and a little during the day. Eyelids skin is not soft and moisturized.

Please explain the reason for the price hike
Am I seeing things? Did this marvelous product jump to $23? I bought this product last year for 9.58!!! I bought it twice bc it truly is a beautiful eye balm; however here we go again, if an influencer endorsers an unknown product, the price starts to rapidly go up. Is this product made in China? Are tariffs being added? Last I checked it was made in the USA. Or is there a honey shortage? I would like to know the reason behind the price hike. Yes the product is wonderful, but if there’s no reason but greed to increase the price, trust me there’s alternatives. I believe in supporting small businesses, but not when prices go up & customers pay a ridiculous price for unknown reasons. For me, It’s principle - I will not be repurchasing unless the price goes down.
