Doesn't stay in the ground
This is a great product in theory, but if you are a beginner just learning your golf swing, this is not the product for you. I feel like it is advertised as beginner friendly, but if you even swing slightly too close to the ground, you catch the mat and the whole thing goes flying. It also doesn't come with actual steaks to keep it in the ground, just 4 golf tees that don't work so well. Within the first 3 swings one of the grommets had come off completely and without it the hole was bigger than the golf tee meaning that it could no longer be secured at that corner. If you are a professional and you NEVER swing too low and you don't want to practice chipping then this mat might work for you, But if you're like me and just learning, then this is not the product for you. It is not durable, and unless you have a perfectly level piece of ground then it lays at an odd angle and makes it even harder to not chip it and rip the mat out of the ground, sending the mat and the 4 golf tees flying in all directions. I can't even begin to tell you how annoying it was to try and hunt down all the golf tees that got flung to kingdom come every time I swung the club. I spent way more time looking for the tees and re-setting up the mat than I did actually hitting any golf balls and working on my golf swing. So yeah, it's a fine product in theory but not good for actually learning to swing. Save yourself some time and money and just buy some golf tees and balls and hit those rather than use this mat.

Really helps visualize your strike point
I have been using this for about a month and it has really helped me understand where my club is striking the ground during my most natural swing path.A more advanced player may be able to adjust their swing to correct strikes that are thin or fat, but I just positioned my ball to where I strike the ground the most often. Results: I have more consistent ball striking and reduced duffs.Warning: If you are a huge ground gouger you will destroy this mat fairly quickly.

My boyfriend loves it!
My boyfriend has gotten really into golf this past few years and love to practice his swing in and out of the house so this was the perfect Christmas gift! And he loves it!

Not that durable.
I like the idea that you are able to see the path of your swing and it is soft, when you hit it hard, it does not hurt you a lot. However, it is not that durable. the black lines look are stickers, that break up quickly and rubbers are fragile into pieces. I think it is a good training equipment for the intermediate level player, not for the beginner.

Great product with a little help
I knew it was flimsy before I bought it. So my plan was to glue it to a this piece of plexiglas and than add duct tape. Works great and maybe the best golf training aid I've ever owned and I own a lot! After just a couple days using it, I got my divots to be square and shallow. Shot even par (9 handicap) on a tough course a few days after using it.

Golf training mat
Golf training mat I put this out on my back porch patio so I can putty in my patio at home without having to go to the golf course it is very durable light weight and when I am not using it I can roll it up and put it away it is well worth the money because I can keep myself in practice

Durability
There are no holes pre-made to secure to the ground. It comes rolled up and takes a bit to get it to sit flat. Testing it out in the first 20 minutes just to get a few swings in, the corner broke off because it wasn't flat... carpet does what it's described, but I imagine poking hikes in the mat to secure it, you're just going to tear the product and will likely fall apart quickly. I suggest a different brand or company. Don't buy this

Very helpful
It is a simple mat that gives immediate feedback on your swing path and impact point. The fibers change to a darker color when you sweep the mat with your golf club showing you precisely where you are screwing up. I take it to the course and do my warm ups without hitting a ball. I’m a bogie golfer at about an 18 handicap. I have taken an average of 4.5 strokes off my score after using this simple device. It really helped me with ball striking

Doesn’t Mark Well
Arrived quickly but the mat barely marks club contact. See the before and after photos. That was a full contact swing with a 7 iron.

Could be better.
I don’t like how it don’t stick to floor surfaces your training on and every swing/hit you take you have to fix and straighten the matt.

without any anchors to keep it stable, it just moves around every time you hit it. Do not buy
