3M PF14.0W Privacy Filter Black

I bought this screen to replace the one I lost from another vendor that cost 3x the price and wasn’t sure the fit or quality would be as good. Having received it, I can verify this option is the same as the other more expensive options. Same level of tint, privacy at an angle, exact fit over the screen, and even came with the same tabs and adhesive as installation options. Highly recommend.

Overall the product is great for the price point. I was a little disappointed on the adhesion as I don't like to permanently stick the privacy screen on my screen.

I was concerned with how this would fit on a Lemur Pro lemp10 by System76. To my delight and surprise it fit within the LCD dimensions EXACTLY. Bonus, I had never heard of the 3M™ COMPLY™ Attachment System which comes in addition to the stickies and railbars that normally come with a privacy screen. It's very handy to be able to flip up the screen.

My screen has a matte finish that only blurs the glare and actually distorts the 1080/1444p resolution. This sheet hugs the screen, which prevents light from directly hitting my actual screen rough texture = no more glare. Viola!If you have old eyes or even Lasik eye surgery that may have slightly affected your perception of contrast, this provides a subtle filter of higher contrast. Text stands much out better. The cruddy finish on my original screen always overexposed (washed out) images and text. Get it!
