Behringer EUROLIVE B115W Active PA Speaker

Great balanced low-mid to treble sound but no true sub-woofer sound. I bought this to use primarily with my little Roland portable drum set but the 15" inch woofer just can't thump the bass deep enough for me which is confusing because I recently bought a Behringer powered 12" sub and it really shakes the floor with deep low end. I assumed this speaker with a 15" woofer would also produce deep bass but that isn't the case so I returned it. I may try the 12" version of this speaker as it is 10 pounds lighter and just team it up with the powered 12" sub for a real nice sounding set-up with the one mis-giving in that it will require me to carry around 2 speakers and more cables etc. I also tried an EV ZLX 15" and it too didn't have that real low bass a dedicated sub can produce so I think I've given up on trying to find one speaker cabinet that can produce deep bass and treble (why doesn't Behringer simply add the horn/tweeter from this speaker to the sub? those tweeters weigh nearly nothing).Blue Tooth option worked very well and it never made any bad sounds or had any drop outs though I was always within 15 feet of it or so when I tried it. Overall quality of the speaker is high and it looks, sounds and feels very professional so if you don't need deep bass, give it a try as it compares favorably with the more expensive and highly touted EV.

We purchased two of these speakers for school programs, dances, etc., replacing two other smaller, older Behringer speakers. Within a minute of unboxing the first speaker, we connected it via Bluetooth and were rocking! Hybrid connectors on the back allow us to use an external mixer with multiple microphones, computer audio, and other hardwired inputs as needed for various uses.

I have two smaller older Behringer speakers that I love and have lasted for more than five years. They sound just like when I bought them.When I first bought this speaker it sounded great. So much so that I bought another one a few months later. Now they both sound terrible. They have had much less use than my old Behringer speakers that are still going strong. I clicked on the link to customer support and it’s a broken link. I’ve had both for less than a year and I’m very disappointed that they are already going out and there’s no easy way to get assistance.

This is probably the best Speaker anyone can have. I use it for playing music from my phone or computer for large parties 200-400 people. This speaker can easily supply the sound. Almost too loud for certain things. The bass is incredible and versatility is even better. 100% would buy again. Well worth the $$$

First, I must say I purchased two of these specifically for the stereo Bluetooth functionality, which didn’t work so great. They work fine one at a time, but get very glitchy and consistently drop signal when stereo linked together. They do sound great when hardwired, but my primary objective was to clean up my DJ setup by eliminating some cables. Fortunately, I had also purchased the extended warranty through Amazon, and the support was fantastic. Amazon’s response to the issue definitely earned them an additional star. Otherwise, I would have left it at 3, due to the defect and lack of Behringer support.
