Works great in my Brother multi function copier/fax.
I wouldn't use anything else in my brother machine. Easy to change and use. Best results. Don't have any desire to experiment of off brands or refills.

Prints consistent high quality pages for a long time
The Brothers LC 105 ink cartridges were delivered the same day I ordered them and they have been working great for me so far. This was perfect because I didn’t realize my printer would not print with empty color ink cartridges. I recently used an off brand black ink cartridge which quickly stop printing and started printing streaks across my pages even after cleaning the printer head multiple time it still was not printing well. So I decided that I should try buying the name brand cartridges for the better quality and less hassle with cleaning the printer heads on my printer. So far the quality has been so much better than the low budget black ink cartridge I was using. I feel that these ink cartridges are well worth the extra expense to produce consistent high quality pages. They also are lasting me significantly longer than the low budge ink cartridges because I haven't had to clean the printer heads to help reduce the printed streaks like I had to in the past with the low budge black ink. I have also found I use the three ink colors at about the same rate so buying this 3 pack worked well for me. After using these Brother ink cartridges I will not ever go back to the low brands ones because they end up cost more per page in the end. The Brothers LC105 definitely gives you the best price per page in the long run and I will be buying these cartridges again whenever I need more colored ink for my printer.

Expensive, but long lasting
I've had this Brother (MFCJ6920DW) printer for several years and have had little trouble with it, no paper jams, remote notifications of low ink and paper, etc. The are four people using this printer on a network. Printing is high quality. I went thru 3 Canon printers within 5 years and scrapped them all because of their printhead failures. No help from their tech support. The support from Brother has been great and their warranty is longer.Addressing the inks directly:As with all OEM inks, it's far too expensive. I have had a number of cartridges that start showing low ink much too early. I also have had several that cause the printer to show "out of ink" when a cartridge is a third full. When I try to reinsert those cartridges, they are no longer recognized. I have also replaced one cartridge and then had the other three show up as needing replacement. Picking the next lowest level (make note of all levels before starting any replacement) I had to replace another cartridge that showed enough ink to continue. Makes the ink even more expensive.

DONT BUY THIS BOX OF GARBAGE
Let me start off by saying I was having issues with my printer. I thought maybe I needed New Ink, like it had gone bad or something. So I Spent $46 and ordered these. Prime shipping, It's expensive, but I thought they are XXL and made by Brother, so they have to be good right?NOPE. Don't waste your money. You will NEVER get 1200 pages or anything close to that from these cartridges. I've had them for less than 3 HOURS.. Not days, weeks... HOURS, and they are completely EMPTY. I didn't print ONE useful page. Because when I put them in, It wouldn't print clean. It was printing banded lines on every page. EVERY PAGE. Test pages came back inconsistent. One would be almost good, the next horrible. I got online with BROTHER LIVE Customer Service. The first agent had me run through 6 cleaning cycles before I realized he wasn't doing anything useful. SIX. He knew NOTHING, and at that point had wasted 50% of my BRAND NEW ink cartridges. Less than an HOUR and I'm down $23.So I quit chatting with him and got a new person. They said I needed to go into Maintenance Mode and do the cleaning from there. The first one used 10% of my Ink... consistent with what the idiot before had done... so now I'm down to 40% ink, an still haven't printed ONE useful page. The print quality came back... BAD again... so she INSISTED that I do a DEEP cleaning. I said I didn't want to as I only had 40% left on BRAND NEW cartridges, and she said I HAD to to continue the process and figure out whats wrong. So I did that... low and behold this used 40% of my BRAND NEW INK... Yup. All of the remaining ink. It popped up REPLACE INK CARTRIDGES on the screen. When I told her this she decided she was done helping me waste the remainder of my $46 today. I asked what I should do, and she said there was nothing she could do. She was done. Yup. She was done wasting my ink. When I told her that Brother should replace my cartridges since THEY made me waste 1200 pages worth of ink, she said NO. That I was "informed" that the cleanings use a lot of ink... I was not informed they used 40% in ONE CYCLE. I'm really not kidding. She then told me to call corporate and complain... No, she really did. Then she refused to give me the number for corporate, said I could locate it on the website....I'm pretty certain that these cartridges are NOWHERE near 1200 pages. I'd be surprised if they were 200 pages. Don't waste your money on these expensive piles of JUNK. I will never buy Brother again if only because their customer service is a joke. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. And Now I have no ink to print anything... so I have to go spend $60 at Staples to get ink.

Great Printer
I have been very happy with the Brother MFC-J6520DW printer. It has great color print quality for photos and other color prints. I LOVE the 2 sided printing feature because I DON"T have to manually reinsert the papers to print on the 2nd side! It holds a lot of paper and the paper tray is enclosed inside the printer so my kids can't sneak away all my printer paper. I also love that I have been able to print posters with it! My only complaint with the print is that sometimes when I go to print the printer shows as "offline" on my desktop computer even though it is on. I have to turn the printer on and off, sometimes multiple times before I am able to get it to show as "online" and I am able to successful. I haven't devoted much time to trying to understand why this happens and how to prevent it, but it is always inconvenient when it happens.

Beware of scammers who sell you expired ink
Be careful! This is great ink, but it has an expiration date, which Brother prints on the cardboard box, not the cartridge's shrinkwrap or the cartridge itself. So the last time I bought this from an Amazon Marketplace seller, it arrived with -- you guessed it -- no box, even though the product photo showed a box. Sweet and innocent, I suspected nothing wrong until I got a box of ink (from a different seller) that had an expiration date TWO YEARS OLD!If you look at the various Marketplace sellers, you'll see that some mention their product's expiration date, and some do not; I'm guessing that most of those who don't mention it are selling you an expired one. (Everyone except me, apparently, knows of this scam.) So beware! If you don't get a SEALED BOX with ink inside, you're probably getting something that's outdated.I've almost finished using the ink I bought, and it's working fine; you might not be so lucky.
