Love it, and Tips for Remote Control
Exactly the correct length for LG OLED C6 curved 65" TV so did not need to cut/waste any LEDs. The TV is very bright and 5 feet from the wall. 60% setting gave excellent back lighting. Very even white light - just what I was looking for.Tips for Remote Control:1) When you take out the battery drawer to remove the plastic insulating sheet, don't put it back in upside down - it fits fine that way but of course won't work.2) The instructions for the remote are ... weird; they need to be thrown out and rewritten from scratch. I finally figured out that to pair the remote; after re-plugging the USB cord, you need to press two buttons at the same time and release WITHIN 5 seconds, not hold them down FOR 5 seconds.3) Other reviewers reported various increments for the remote control, but ours seems to have increments of 10% for the + and - buttons. The different levels aren't far apart in brightness and that seems to be enough.

Excellent product - beware of install challenges... Not a deal breaker though!
I recently did a wall mount for a 50 inch Hisense 4K TV. I wanted to experience the bias lighting and this kit did the trick. I love that it can be powered by a USB port on the TV. The AC adapter is similar to a phone charger plug and is a little large. It may not fit into a recessed wall outlet. There is an "on/off" toggle switch on the cable. The IR remote is nice as well. The remote will change the brightness and perform on/off functions. There is a separate IR receiver dongle (included) for the remote that can be removed easily if not desired. Online instructions indicate mounting the lights across the top 1/3 of the TV. However if (like me) you have used a wall mount bracket. That area of the TV may not be accessible. And if so, shadows could be thrown. Be careful of wires as well. The lights may throw shadows off them as well. I mounted the lights un cut around the wall bracket via zipties. This installation worked well and I'm very happy with the results. Room lighting may affect how bright the lights seem. The darker the room, the more light. Again, a perception. I haven't spent hours using the lights yet. This setup is planned to be used for both video and computer use. (edit: The folks at Scenic Labs have reached out to me regarding my application. They do have a "Quad" kit for wall mounted TVs. The quad kit is applicable for TVs with 50 to 85 inch screens. And I've been told the quad kit can be cut to fit smaller applications.)

Good quality product, good color, too short.
Overall, this is a good quality product. You can tell the difference between size of led's and the build of the strip, compared to cheaper brands. The cord, and switch are good quality as well. We have a 60 inch TV, and this basically provided one strip that stretched across the back. While the color was nice, we felt that the one strip was not adequate for lighting and to be honest, seems overpriced for what you get. I like what they've designed, but for the price, they should provide more feet or at least lower the price. We ended up supplementing with a cheaper product that provided more lighting.

Perfect solution
This is exactly what I needed. No, it's not a cheap $10 light that can change colors. I needed pure white 6500K, dimmable, with a high color index. Be ready to adjust your TV's backlight though. I set this bias light around 50% and then needed to tweak my TV set to output more light (doubled the value). Because of the bias lighting, blacks still look black, not LED blue hued; I would say even more so, now. Colors look brilliant on my TV, and the resulting picture sticks out. No eye strain.Worth every penny of the $50 I spent, and I would highly recommend this.

Much better than the old T5 Flourescent bulb it replaced
This MediaLight 6500K replaced a 4200K T5 bulb, CRI around 60, that I had been using for a couple years. While that was "good enough" the difference is substantial. As shown in the pictures I have several absorption panels behind the TV so not exactly the best setup due to the varying intensity of the reflected light. Fortunately the dark grey wall/ceiling panel absorbs most of the light that would have been reflected of the white ceiling tiles. Black tiles weren't an option.I ended up with a cut length of 35" (27 LED's) and with the 55" TCL 2 feet from the wall a setting of 20 bumped up a bit with the + button is about right, I don't usually watch in total darkness.Well worth the price IMO as you are getting a well thought out top performing Bias light. No brainer!

The best Bias Lighting System, do not buy anything else.
I owned another Bias Lighting System and the color of the light was blue compared to this. I think this is proof that it is true 6500K light. The light is white and not blue light my old Bias Lighting System. The light is also brighter and noticeable bright in a dark room. It helps with eye strain and contrast in a dark room, even with my very bright HDR TV. The best Bias Lighting System you can buy on Amazon.

Great product, love it so far
Great product, love it so far. Using is as bias lighting for my 27" iMac right now but buying another for the TV. Plugs into outlet (with adapter) or straight into USB. Only thing nicer would be if the remote dongle plugged in closer to the lights rather than the plug end. But currently not an issue on the iMac, and if you have plugged into you TVs USB it should power on and off with the TV if the USB slots are not always on. Works as advertised and great for eye strain (and color work with overhead lights turned off) Haven't measured the temperature independently but the reviews I read outside of AMZN said it was pretty closer to 6500K. Highly recommended. BTW, blue painters tape works just fine as a temporary mount solution if you don't want to use the adhesive on the light strip.

Not worth the price
The lights help (very) marginally. Really don’t see that much difference—blacks appear a little darker. I tried all the settings and I watch the TV in the dark. Maybe I need the version that has more lights. Went on easily enough, but the end where the cord is keeps peeling off about an inch. Put on one of the clips on it, but it keeps lifting off too. It isn’t being pulled, so don’t know why it won’t stay put. I wouldn’t buy them again. A lot of money for very little return.
