Amazing, Delicious, Revolutionary Food from maybe the least scrupulous bakery on earth.
Price is insane. Julian Bakery might be the worst company on earth. Rumor mill says they stole this recipe and sued another company so they would be the only company who can sell these. But that's just rumors, who knows. I do know they made some seriously weak low carb bread in the past, and sold it as diabetic friendly. I think they got sued pretty big over that. People allege that they pay for positive reviews, and have all kinds of bad business ethics. I don't know if any of that's true, but if you have the time or patience to make these by hand at home, maybe that's the best option. I personally don't, so I pay this exorbitant price. All that aside, these are really tasty. And made of basically just coconut. They hold up well, aren't the texture of flour, but they don't have wheat or any other crap in them. They don't break apart, they hold greasy taco meat with salsa, sour cream, all the heaviest and wettest of ingredients, and don't fall apart. Falling apart isn't an option, they just aren't that consistency. They are a little bit rubbery, I guess. It doesn't bother me, this is a revolutionary food. They taste a bit sweet, and definitely have coconut flavor. If you "hate" coconut or whatever, you wouldn't like these. The 49 pack is 49 folded on top of each other on wax paper. So, they are nearly impossible to get out of the little bag one at a time. This is typical Julian Bakery quality if you ask me. They could cut the paper and stack them like any other reasonable organization, but they are just looking for profits.

Paleo/Gluten-free To Go!
These wraps are exactly what they are described to be; they don't offer any mind-blowing flavors and they aren't going to change your world and make you convert to Paleo with one bite. BUT for the Paleo and/or gluten free followers these are quick and easy and flavorful alternatives to a lettuce wrap or slaving away in a kitchen for homemade Paleo wraps and breads. They keep well in your pantry and they travel well on the go. I buy them in bulk and take them to work, on the boat, when I travel, etc. You can pop them in the microwave, toaster oven, oven, grill, etc. to change the consistency and enhance the flavor. There is a slight coconut flavor to them but its not strong or sweet and it is virtually undetectable when you add the "goodness (meats, veggies, sauces/condiments)" to the inside. They are a staple in my kitchen.

I love these wraps
I love these wraps. They taste great and are a good in a pinch. They have a slightly sweet, but not overpowering coconut flavor. A bit expensive, but are very convenient if you're packing a lunch on the go. I make sure I always have these on hand just in case.

Has become a staple! UPDATE: Not same product. No longer buying these.
Update (1/28/2018): I was so excited when I got notified today by Amazon that the Paleo Wraps from Julian Bakery were back in stock. So I quickly got on Amazon to order them. I'm glad I for some reason unknown to me decided to look closer at the description, because the name and package looks just like before. To my surprise, the INGREDIENTS HAVE CHANGED! No longer just pure coconut. One of the ingredients now is flax, a problematic ingredient for me. Another is Tapioca fiber probiotic. Another problematic ingredient for me. And there are other ingredients added. And because of that, the shelf life is shorter AND it is recommended to refrigerate once opened. I am so disappointed. And I question the ethics of selling these as the same product when it is so drastically changed. It feels like the company is trying to trick me to buy and hide that it is not the same product. I won't be buying these, nor anything else from this company.Previous Review: March 26, 2014I bought these to serve wraps at a party I was hosting. Being on a strict Paleo diet, I wanted to serve food items that I could eat and yet everyone else who are not Paleo might enjoy. I was pleased that the majority loved the wraps. Although they are so thin, they held up very well. I had all the possible fillings set out, including three meats (pheasant, salmon, and beef), avocado, herbal leaves and various other vegetables. Majority of the guests made three wraps - different meat each time - which tells me that the wrap itself was good. For me, the fact that they are made only from coconut and do not need to be refrigerated, made following my Paleo Diet really easy and fast.I did learn that once a package (of seven) is opened, unused wraps should be sealed in a plastic bag or container. Otherwise they dry out some and are not as pliable. Still taste fine though.

Overpriced, but good for busy primal dieters.
Almost ungodly expensive (a dollar per wrap, and that's only if you order in bulk?), but they taste good (albeit, a little sweet, which you really notice when you try to do a savory filling) and are great for Paleo dieters with busy lives. I try to make my own food from scratch (I can create coconut bread for less than 1/4 of the price this company charges), but these wraps are convenient, don't require refrigeration, and easily replace tortillas for quick and easy wraps or sandwiches.Julian's Bakery makes good products, but they take advantage of the fact that they have a pretty substantial monopoly on the market and their prices reflect this fact. They could dramatically lower prices and still produce with a high profit margin. You can tell because of the sheer (pretty ridiculous) money they spend on social media marketing! Yeesh.

Paleo Wraps are Legit. Changed the way I eat... aka. Changed my life.
Paleo wraps have changed the way I eat food, therefore has made a huge impact on my life. In an effort to eat a "human diet" or Paleo, I try my best to avoid gluten. Having been raised on sandwiches, it's a tough transition. Luckily Paleo Wraps fill the void, I wrap hamburgers, fried sardines, desserts of almond butter/banana wraps. If you find lettuce wraps a little hard to handle, do yourself a favor and order one of these. I do a 50 bulk order every couple weeks.Pros: Low carb, weight-loss diet friendly, limitless possibilities.Con: Starts to melt with heat (use lettuce barrier to shield hot food), sometimes the wraps are brittle and hard to fold (deal with it)Thanks Julian's Bakery for making an affordable, guilt-free substitute for bread. I will continue to preach your quality products and be a loyal customer.
