Lately I’ve been drinking buckwheat tea and will brew a full kettle’s worth of tea a couple times a day, storing the tea in a large insulated jug. This tea holder can hold plenty of leaves/grains and sink to the bottom of the jug while being easy for me to lift out with the chain hook. Being wide, it also is easy for me to clean out later compared to the skinnier tea strainers that my hand can’t fit into. I bought the two pack which was a good value for two so I can rotate them out or use one specially for cooking.

Now that I've discovered that many tea packagers use plastic coating to hold the paper bag together, I've changed over to bulk tea. These are really great little devices - the holes are tiny, but it is very porous - at full flow the faucet doesn't cause it to hold any water at all. It also doesn't pass debris. They're easy to clean and appear to be good quality stainless steel. Good purchase.
