I ordered four different sizes of these shoes to make sure I got the right size -- 7.5, 8.5, 9 and 10; which are suppose to be "MEN'S" sizes. My daughters typically wear 8.5 and 9 in women's shoes. The 9 and 10 shoes were the ones that fit them best. (9.5 would have been better than the 10, but that size wasn't available.) So even though it states that the sizes are men's, consider the sizes to be WOMEN'S sizes and then go up a half size from what you typically wear.As far as quality: the material is a very soft, almost knit-like material, so it does not support the foot like a regular sneaker would; but it is comfortable and a durable quality. All four pairs' lights worked upon arrival (which surprised me, based on many other reviews). Two pairs were returned strictly due to not fitting. The two that were kept have not been worn much, so I cannot speak to longevity of lights working. My daughters did like that the switch to control the lights was on the OUTSIDE of the shoe (hidden well by material), instead of being INSIDE the shoe and possibly uncomfortable.I would recommend these shoes for a fun and festive attention getter. Just make sure you don't think of the sizes as men's sizes and still go up a half size.

They way cool. Thankfully, they're affordable considering how the material feels and how well the lights work. The lights have a variety of settings; probably nine, but I didn't count. Unfortunately they are made INSANELY small. It is great service though, so I was able to return two separate pairs and still get the right size in time for Christmas. I am a size 9, but for these shoes I needed a 10 1/2

My 10 y/o son wears a size 8 mens US in most brands. I read that these ran small, so I ordered a size 9. I had to return them; they were still WAY too small. Consider ordering at least 1.5 sizes larger than typical brands.

I bought these for my son for christmas. He wears a 91/2 so i bought a size 10 and they was still a size or two too small.
