How to set combination code 1.Hold the combination lock in which way numbers show on the right. The other lock works but seems like it will be unreliable in the long run
One of the locks is faulty (dials won't turn after I set the personal combination). My husband is handy and couldn't get it to work either. We tried resetting the combination but the problem seems to be the cheap dials. The other lock works but seems like it will be unreliable in the long run, too. I've already had an issue with the lock bar sliding off the top of the lock instead of going into the slot, then it became stuck in the locked position and the dials did not want to turn. I eventually got it to work but the whole thing is cheaply made and probably will not last long.

Great combination locks!
These are exactly what you would expect for a combination lock. I tugged on them, and they hold really well for a small lock; I couldn't get it to just pop open. They come with really easy to understand and execute directions for changing the preset code to your own. Worked for myself and my 8 year old daughter first try! Great for a locker!

Tough to open after code change
Very good price for these locks, however, they are difficult to open once the lock code is changed, at least mine were. After locking and unlocking dozens of times, they seem to be getting easier though. One came split at the seam where the tumbler is. This one is much more difficult to open, however, since there was no time to purchase other locks before they were needed, I had to go with these.

Pleasantly surprised with this lock. First, my purchase was for a two-pack and the price was very competitive. Second, the product was of a higher quality than I had anticipated. Fit and function are great. The combination dials are easy to rotate, spinning easily and clicking in place with each digit (this is A LOT better than other combination pad locks I've used of this size and price range). Combination is easy to set to my preference. Size is not too big or too small - but hits the sweet-spot in terms of small enough for luggage but large enough for other uses.

The lock took forever to to lock/unlock
I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this product. Initially I wanted to use this to lock my backpack so that no one would steal my stuff from the music festival I was attending. It worked but it took forever to lock and unlock. It would take me 15 mins to unlock every time I was trying to pull my stuff out. One of the locks that it came with was broken. If you want a fast lock that's easy to pull out and unlock this is not the product for you.

Works great at my gym
Works as expected. Doesnt feel the most solid, but they are cheap. Works great at my gym, not like someones going to break off a lock in a locker room. I would not recommend using this outside where someone would have time to try to break it though.

Light but sturdy
I use them in my classroom. They were easily customized to the combination I wanted.

defective.
I reset the passcode, tested it multiple times, seemed to work. In its first real-world use, at the locker room at the pool, it wouldn't open with my new password or the one it came with (0000). Had to have the manager come and break it off with giant pliers.
