this works good but it will get foamy if you use more than a cap full in the Rainbow vacuum cleaner.

I thought that I was ordering the deoderizer from Rainbow which I had been using for 20 plus years. But I got this stuff and I could smell the order thru the packing box. I was afraid to try it because one reviewer said that it foamed and it probably would since the makers of this product didn't have the sense to give it a decent smell. As I said, I have used Rainbow Deoderizer in my Rainbow vacuum for years. Since I last ordered, Rainbow has reduced the ounces from 32 to 16, because they say now it is concentrated so you only have to use 1 capful rather than 2. My experience with more concentrated products like Joy, Tide, etc. is that you require just as much and are paying alot more money. It just a dishonest way of raising the price - so I don't buy them. If you're going to raise your price, raise it. Don't try to pretend that you are making the product better for the benefit of the consumer. Anyway, don't buy this product or you'll just end-up having to return it as I did. Amazon is great about taking back returns.

If you are an OG Rainbow user, like me, this stuff has been around since birth. My family has always had Rainbow vacuums throughout the years and we all love them. This is the same green product and they are still selling now. It has a fresh, disinfected scent. I don't know of anything else that smells like it. Some people say that the scent reminds them of the smell of a dentist office. That's hard for me to identify because it just smells like a clean house to me. I use it in the vacuum and in my Rainmaker air purifier by Rainbow. I guess you could use it for with other products or machines, but I have never tried. I will say, it is not a cleaner for surfaces, just an air cleaner/purifier. I tried to mop the floor with it one time because I love it so. It left a film on my LVP, so I had to remop. A little goes a long way!

First of all, let me say that the product was not what I expected. I was expecting the real Rainbow deodorizer, and this is why I am only giving 3 stars - falsely advertised. Now, with regards to the actual product - it works fine. I am not sure how some reviewers are saying that it foamed, because I am using 2 full capfuls in my Rainbow basin without any trouble - no foam. Perhaps it depends on your water chemistry in your area, I am on Detroit water, living in the suburbs. The smell is OK, not as fresh as the original Rainbow fluid, but better than the wet dog and food smells that we are trying to eliminate. The room smelled fresher with the first cleaning. Keep the product stored away from pets and children, just as you should with ANY chemical.

We have used this product before. It is amazing. When I saw it on Amazon, I was excited. However, it was delivered to us by USPO IN A TRASH BAG. IT WAS COMPLETELY BUSTED. I CONTACTED THE SELLER AND RECEIVED A REFUND.I will probably purchase this again at a later date once holiday shipping is completely finished and carriers are not overwhelmed by packages.The seller was very responsive and resolve the issue quickly.

This deodorizer works great in the Rainbow. The scent is kind of neutral, not outrageously sweet. It is a good deal compared to the tiny and expensive bottles you get from Rainbow. The only possible downside is that you might tire of the smell. That may be why Rainbow gives you a variety of fragrances initially. You cannot beat the great price and the deodorizer leaves little if any residue.
