Such wonderfully stunning illustrations and a beautifully written story
My 6 year old daughter loved this book. The changes of the seasons are always such a magical time for kids and this story really brings it to life. The characters are so friendly and endearing and the artwork is beautifully drawn. The story is really sweet with an important message about dealing with feelings when things don't go how you expected them to.

Sweet little book, colourful and nice story.
Bought this a part of an Easter gift for my Grand-daughter as we try to limit the amount of sugar she consumes and will be given with a smaller sweet treat.I have read this little book and it is very colourful and has a good story so I am sure she will enjoy it.

A beautiful picture book.
Living in Season Isle are four friends (linked to each season) and it's about to be Spring's turn to wear the weather crown to create her own special new season.Spring becomes very anxious that it won't be the perfect start she was hoping when the flowers won't open and the butterflies won't wake up. Luckily Spring has some great friends who help and encourage her. Together they all try to create spring using bright paints and by sewing butterfly wings.Spring realises that the season does not need to be perfect!'It didn't matter if spring was messy or soggy as long as it was fun!'Spring relaxes and when she tries again all the flowers, butterflies and birds come. This is such an uplifting story and a lovely book to help young children learn about anxiety and how to overcome it. It is also a lovely celebration of friendship. I also love the way each of the friends personifies each of the four seasons. The illustrations are beautiful and so vibrant.I was always looking for great books to help introduce the new seasons when I was teaching in Early Years. This book is the perfect choice!
