So good!
My daughter has recently been reading graphic novels and her friend had recommended book. My daughter had a chance to read some and could not put it down. We had to buy it and she has been reading it and re-reading it ever since. She loves the illustrations and said they really show what a text saying. She also said she really likes the characters because there are moments that are very dramatic and also parts about friendship and happiness. She gives it 5 stars :)

Great Story
I followed the story when it was offered as a webcomic and was sad when the site stopped updating. When a friend mentioned the book was out, I immediately bought a copy and read it through in almost one sitting. It is a great story, uplifting and evocative, which is a breath of fresh air in these days of dystopian deconstruction fiction. The artwork is bright, and really makes the character appealing and sympathetic.

Perfect read!
I’m Jacqueline’s daughter Kate, and I love this book. When I saw this in the store, I thought”Ooohhhh, this looks good.” But when I read it I was amazed at how it was. It has many surprises and twists to it, appealing characters, and the end was good but still, I was worried about the kids. However, If you purchase this, I suggest reading it lots of times. It really helps. In conclusion, this is a great book and will hopefully lead to a series. Kate, age 8.

Engaging Story and Lovely, Lyrical Drawings
I first saw this book in a proof version and was totally drawn in by the illustrations. I found myself hooked into the story and short of stealing the copy from the artist's parents, I had to wait for it to come out in hardback to find out the ending. It was well worth the anticipation. The characters are interesting and the humor is sly and clever. It's a great story for people who are struggling with identity issues and also a good introduction for people who think that they have already made up their minds on the subject. I've been a fan of the artist for years and was very satisfied with the story. I hope that Cait and Trevor find their way back into this world and I look forward to reading their next book! I'm recommending it to friends and giving copies away as gifts for Christmas this year. I've saved a hardback copy for myself!! I'd say that this book is appropriate for ages 9 and up. Younger kids will still like the beautiful pictures and the engaging characters but they might find the peril a little scary. Something that a family could read together for an opening to discussions about the topics of family, identity, mental illness, sexuality, gender, inclusiveness and conflict resolution.

My kids ages 5-12 love this book!
This was a book the kids got from the library and we renewed and renewed because all the kids loved it. So I decided just to buy it. The colors and illustrations are beautiful and it pulls at all ages that love comic novels. The kids want them to come out with another book!

Perfect Graphic Novel
Just got it today, and am deep into the story - engrossing plot, well-rounded characters, emotive and detailed characters. The artwork is vivid and highly detailed, which is complimented by the publisher’s use of better than average paperstock and ink process.

What a wonderful story 🥺
As an adult non-binary person, seeing such an easy discussion of gender between these characters filled my heart with joy, I’m not sure I’ve ever consumed media where I was represented period, not to mention so simply and kindly! The story and characters are fun and bright, seeing some of my favorite cryptids like chupacabra and the flatwoods monster slipped in was great 😂

Great story.
This is my 10yr olds favourite book by far. I'll probably wind up ordering another when he wears this one out. Whenever he is in-between books or just needs something familiar he picks this one up again. The story is great and so are the graphics. Really hope that the author/illustrator come out with a second.

love it from beginning to end
I read this together with my 11yr old who will only read graphic novels. We loved this book so much. We just finished it tonight and he was desperate for more. I'm not a graphic novel reader normally, but I found this artistic style and colouring perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed it and so did he

Great read!
My 9 year old loves this book after reading a few chapter before returning it to the school library, then all the kids started to borrow it, so could not continue to read it and finish the book, until I brought the book from Amazon

Brilliant graphic novel
This was brilliant! A gorgeous cast of “irregularities” trying to keep each other safe. I loved the chat about family and being who you are. The friendship between the main characters brought me so much joy. This is also GORGEOUSLY illustrated - the pages are just delicious. The antagonist in this is devilishly good. Just brilliant!
