Lots of features. I've found that I really like the 2.7K setting the best. Documentation could be better. The type is too small for these old eyes. Very good value.

I was in need of a small extra camera that I could add to my studio for extra angles, including overhead shots where a compact camera would be useful. I needed something that would match up in resolution and frame rate for the rest of my 4K 30fps setup, I could disable the character output on the external view and any power saving could be disabled so it wouldn't turn off when not recording.This pretty well fits those needs.In a brightly lit studio, the video performance is pretty good. It's not as crisp as the other more expensive cameras, but it also doesn't stick out as being noticeably worse. There's definitely more compression, but as long as it's not pointing at the same subject, it's not glaring.The sensor is pretty small, so low light performance is not great. It's going to get grainy quick, so make sure you have plenty of light.I don't use the on board mic, so I can't really comment on the audio quality.So, what are the compromises on a camera that seems priced to good to be true?1) There is no optical zoom. It's all digital, so expect it not to be smooth and the video will be negatively affected the more you zoom in. I use it only in the widest setting, so it's fine for me.2) You don't get an external battery charger, so you have to charge the batteries in the camera. In other words, if you're out and about, you better not need more than two or you'll run out of power since you can't charge one while using the other.3) You don't get any manual controls, so lighting changes will trigger the camera iris pretty easily. You do get multiple white balance modes, but no manual custom white balance.4) If you want to use this as a web cam, be ready to have to manually set it to webcam mode every single time you turn it on. It won't remember the setting.5) It uses mini-HDMI and mini USB (not micro like on a cell phone) connections, so get some angle connectors or short extensions to use as strain relief or you'll damage the flimsy ports when the wires are hanging off the side of the camera.6) There's no eyepiece, so it may not be great shooting out in bright sun when you can't see the pop-out screen.Overall, it's a perfectly acceptable "toss in the bag" camera when you want something on hand but other options might be overkill. It's also a good camera for situations where you won't want to risk a more expensive camera being broken or even stolen. Finally, this would be a good first camera for a young budding videographer to learn on.For those who do mostly online videos, this is a far better option than a standard webcam.Just know, there's a reason the good cameras cost so much more.

Camera worked great for 16 months then suddenly started to corrupt each SD card I inserted. Trying to contact someone who can find a fix.

We purchased this camera as a Christmas gift for our kids. It worked for about an hour and then stopped. We contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement. (Love love love Amazon customer service by the way!). The replacement arrived and the same thing happened. The camera just went dark after about an hour. We tried charging, resetting, battery removal and replace it - you name it! This camera is NOT worth the money. We will be returning the replacement and will purchase another brand. Please do not waste your money on this product! Amazon will make it right for you, but it’s not worth the time and trouble.

The camera and equipment are fine and look very high quality, but as soon as I "test" drive it and noticed that the zoom process is not as smooth as it should be. It was lagging (or delay two second before it zooms more). Battery is fully charged and zoom button is pressed all the way. Also, the more you zoom, the picture is not clear. Not satisfied, so I returned it. Refund and return process are satisfied.

Can use until I upgrade. The perfect fit.
