Keys work great - be sure that you know all the steps to make it work with your vehicle
The keys themselves appear to be of decent (but not OEM) level of quality. For that this item is definitely a huge money saver vs. sourcing these keys elsewhere.I was able to get these keys cut at my local Home Depot (I have heard many people had challenges with getting someone to cut the key). Using a crazy process of door openings / key inserts I was able to get the push buttons locking and unlocking the car. I believe one of the reviews details the process necessary there. Now getting the immobilizer transponder working was a bit more challenging. In the end, I ordered a Mini VCI to OBD connector along with Toyota Techstream software which allowed me to program the transponder to my vehicle's immobilizer. For reference - this worked on a 2009 RAV4. Thanks for the great product!

They worked perfectly!
They arrived quickly. I got these 2 new Key FOBs cut for about $5 each. Found someone to program the chip for me at a cost of $35 per Key FOB. So each new Key FOB cost me around $60 from start to finish to have it working with my 4Runner. $20 for the key, $5 for cutting and $35 for programming. Nice.

This key fob works.
A few tips for those who wonder if this will work as a replacement for a worn out fob. This key worked great on my Scion XB. For cutting, don't bother going to a hardware store or Home Depot. They won't cut it. Go to a professional locksmith. I call one who quoted me a price of $20 to cut it. I called another who quoted a $5 charge. I took it there, he cut it in 2 minutes, and charged me 4 bucks. Worked great as a key. For programming, I followed the obtuse instructions available online (open door, put in key, pull out key, open door, etc etc) and got it programmed on the 2nd try. First try was operator error. So yeah, it works, at least for my Scion XB. Good luck!

4Runner spare key
My dealership was impressed this key was programmed. Asking me where I got it. I’m glad it worked!
