In-depth review and recommendation, TLDR at the bottom
Pros:The Laptop is great, Temps are amazing, my CPU doesn't go over 85C when gaming and my GPU idles at 65C when gaming. I connect my laptop to an ultrawide display using USB C so a mux switch isn't important. The laptops native display is beautiful, 16:10 QuadHD, 550 nits of brightness and 165Hz refresh rate, honestly the best display on 2021 laptop by far if you don't take the Apple 14 and 16 inch macs into consideration. The keyboard is nice and tactile, all the keys are uniform and the single zone RGB is good enough for me, They have specialized armory crate keys and other function keys that are amazing to have like the snip tool and sleep and Aura keys for example. The trackpad is very large and accurate, the clicks aren't as tactile as I'd like them to be but it functions well and is very usable. The laptop itself is surprisingly light and has a very nice soft touch feeling laptop deck.Cons/Neutral: one big gripe about this laptop is that the warranty does not seem to work in the UAE? although I could be wrong. with some tweaks and windows 11 the laptop lasts 8 and a half hours on idle and 6 and a half doing light tasks. When gaming I recommend using headphones since the fans do get loud, if you can grab noise cancelling headphones that would be ideal.Overall: I recommend this laptop, would definitely recommend this laptop for a student that needs a good laptop for Engineering and cad and other CPU heavy applications, while also wanting to game on their free time. I purchased it at MSRP which is very good for the ME region where other stores like jumbo and Virgin have this same laptop for 3K over MSRP.

Used laptop
The laptop “which I received” was used. The box was opened. The laptop had so many finger prints on it, some liquids spots on the keyboard & Some minor scratches on the side. I would have not mind it if it’s under a B brand, Used , refurbished and sold for 60-70% of the price. But claiming it’s new is a fails advertisement. This is only my experience with this laptop, I hope it was a fluke and everyone had and will have a new one. As for me a return/refund was the only way, bought it from Dubai Al Ain Center “the i9 one” for AED 6750 new sealed box”.

Piece of Junk
Constantly crashing since day one. Even tried to talk to Asus directly, but the computer kept crashing throughout the session. This happened on multiple sites on multiple days and even various sessions with Asus.

My Best Windows Laptop G14 GA401IV
This is an excellent Laptop. It’s nice, well done an elegant.I’ve updated it to Win 10 Pro. At the beginning was getting hot like a potatoes but after install all the drivers and update the Bios is cool and running Normal. It’s Software is very useful. I passed some exhaustive test: cpu, gpu, ram and disk and have muscle to be among the first ones. I’m very happy with my investment. As I said it’s my first windows Laptop to use it in Astro Photography.I use to work in Imaging Editing and this little girl can do all my work. It’s a Rizen 9 with 16GB.

Lots of downsides
First off the laptop does not have a built in camera. Second there are only two usb ports on the device, meaning that if you wanted to use an external camera through usb you will only be left with 1 port to use if you wanted to also use the second port for a wire-less mouse. There is also no ethernet port built in for those who wanted to get the best out of their internet. You would need to buy a docking station/usb hub to get more usb ports and an ethernet port. With that out of the way let me talk about the actual performance of the system. For some reason ever since I bought this pc occasionally when streaming videos it would crash and the "blue screen of death" would appear. This happened on multiple times even when I reset the pc. The system is not very responsive, every time I open adobe to create a video the software stutters and lags while other applications seem to work fine at times. All in all please look at other varieties to save yourself frustration
