Totally functional that I purchase 2 to start and then I ordered a few more in a 4 pack. I threw out all of my other citronella candles - the ones from trader Joe's and the ones from Lowe's or home depot with fancy name brands. These Murphy products work so much better and I love the cap. Nice looking product and doesn't look chunky on chunky on my outdoor coffee table. We live in Florida and we live amongst the mosquitoes. I. I like to keep a lot of them around. Smells delicious too and the wick is not garbage. Meaning it does not disappear.

We had felt banished from our patio fire pit due to mosquitos, that is until I was in a friend’s yard who used these and was so impressed at the lack of bugs. We have woods all around our yard and some damp areas, so mosquitos are rampant. I did use all three candles plus one of the incense sticks, but we weren’t bothered by the bugs at all. The scent is noticeable but not overwhelming —-and I only use I scented detergents, no air fresheners, no scented candles inside, etc.. These are wonderful!

Kudos to Murphy's for offering a high quality product. The scent is fantastic, and it does keep Mosquitoes at bay. However, it's not 100% effective - but I doubt any product is for that matter. Hence the 4 stars. Nevertheless, this is well worth the money. I would recommend and also purchase this again in the future.

Went to El Salvador and Worked perfectly for me. I only used it at night and one candle lasted about 3 nights for me. It has an herb scent which I didn’t mind.

Awesome candles, long lasting, nice metal tin with a lid, great scent...but they didn't keep a single mosquito away.
