Great little machine once you figure out the programming. Uses very little oil but puts out enough scent for a large area. Definitely a great replacement for the water scent diffuser. No mess or humidity. Very quiet.UPDATE: after a few only 3 months it stopped working. I'm now regretting purchasing this.

This diffuser does exactly what it says it does, so read the product description carefully to see if it's for you. Basically, if you have a large quantity of a particular oil you'd like to diffuse on a set schedule, this is the one for you. You have to go through some semi-complicated steps to program the diffuser's schedule, but once it's done, it works consistently. The only way to avoid it powering on during its scheduled time is to unplug it. If you want your place of business or home to smell a particular way during specific times, this works well. The reservoir is also capable of holding a large quantity of oil (and you don't have to blend water or anything). If this describes the use you're looking for, this is a good choice. Basically, you can automate and very infrequently refill it with large quantities of oil. If you're looking for more flexible use (turn it on when you want, change the scent of oil frequently, etc.), then this won't be the right choice. It's also expensive at $165 for what it is, but I guess the idea is that it's more of a business-type product that should (hopefully) be more durable and long-lasting. So far I've had no issues with its functionality in about a month and change of use.

This is my first scent machine and for the first week I thought it was the best thing in the world, now almost exactly 7 days later it quit putting out any scent. Two days ago I would have easily given it 5 stars ... since it quit working 1 star is even too generous. I cannot recommend this scent machine in any way whatsoever.
