PCI Express PCI-E 5.1ch 6 Channels Digital CMI8738 3D Audio Sound Card SFF for Windows 7, Vista, XP

I could not get this card to work correctly on my Windows 10 Home 64-bit machine. The card was recognized, but I don't think the drivers are actually fully compatible with Windows 10 64-bit. I was trying to use it in quadraphonic mode to drive four bass shakers and the channels were not separated correctly. The card appeared to work in stereo mode, but I could not verify that the channels were correctly separated. I did not try the card on a Windows 7 OS.The C-Media website (maker of the CM 8738 at the heart of this card) indicates that they have no Windows 10 drivers for the CM 8738.

WONT SUPPORT WIN8/10

Installed OK but drivers were awkward to install under Windows 7 Home. The card performed OK but afterward there was a reboot loop problem with every reboot.

We were expecting a half high module.

Item arrived quickly but pop up keeps telling me I need a special audio chip.Tried on 3 different PC;s and the card never works.Live and learn.It;s floating In the river by now.Garbage.

Doesn't work as a 5.1 audio card but was able to make it work as a 2.1 audio card. Poor build quality
