Excellent, more robust and easy to re-knew the batteries whilst still on the Christmas tree. Might buy more of these.

Fitted 9 days ago with Duracell "optimum" AAA batteries and they are already beginning to dim

Control box not weather proof
Lights stopped working. Figured I’d do some troubleshooting as they were already on the tree and it’s the day before Christmas Eve. To cut a dull story short, water ingress via the press button and cable grommet had caused a short. Luckily I dried out the pcb and we had blinkiness again. Put the control box in a waterproof bag with some elastic bands once you’ve programmed it. Disappointing as these lights aren’t the cheapest around.
