My son loves his Nerf blasters, and this one is the same quality as the name brand. The parts are interchangeable with his Nerf guns, and the Nerf Elite darts will fit this one. My son likes to use the clip from this blaster in his Nerf rifle. The four AA batteries required to fire this are not included, so be sure to have some on hand if giving it as a gift (I would recommend some cheap goggles as well, we always have our kids wear eye protection since accidents happen).Overall, this is a fun blaster that IS compatible with the Nerf brand Elite series. My son enjoys this toy, and I would definitely order it again.

Great gift for the kids (adults) to have fun with. Powerful enough to hit target from far distance but not too powerful to cause pain.

cheaply made, returned one and battery compartments is horrible. don't waste your money.
