I’ve always wanted a projector and didn’t know much about them and I came across this one and I’m so impressed! I love this projector!! I convinced my fiancé to put it in our bedroom instead of a big TV and it’s been the best! You can’t go wrong with this. The audio is great, and picture is super clear and works with our fire stick too! Total game changer. It came to the house within 2 days, comes with a cute projector screen. ( we didn’t put ours up because we want to us it on the garage for movie nights).

The order and projector came in the typical Amazon Fashion. The value for the money great. I was personally extremely frustrated with my experience attempting to upgrade the firmware and the entire company experience behind the product.To be fair I am a tech head. As best practice, when purchasing new tech, I always update to the latest software / firmware, it's just the thing to do today and if you ever need support, this is the 1st question they usually ask too.This company is most bizarre, 1st the printed instruction book has no link or mention to the companies website at all whatsoever (at least that I could fine - perhaps I missed it and it was written elsewhere), which is qkkonline.com in case you need it too. On the site under software updates, you are told**"Due to the number of available different languages, and the different ways to install it, it is highly suggested to contact our customer service team, and we will send you the correct file and help you to get it installed step by step."**Ok a webpage can have a drop-down picker for the language and the installation is simple as best as I can tell. download the file to a USB stick and choose update firmware from the menu - I would assume it finds it and simply upgrades it.I emailed support hoping they would email me the file - nope I get this response **"Thanks for contacting us. Can you tell me the exact issue you have with the projector? Please also tell me the Order ID and the model of the projector"**This company acts like this is the 1990's from the odd website to the gatekeeper of firmware.1st the website asks me to register and there it asks for my amazon order number - so there is no way for me to tie my registration to my support in query. Again we are dealing with a company stuck in the 1990's. A simple WordPress site can solve this issue alone, so ditch OpenCart CMS your using now and move to a better platform as your not selling anything on that site anyways. links to amazon to buy form the product pages are also 404 BROKEN page (Product Code: QK01)... so you put ZERO effort on keeping the site working - that means you don't really want to have a real digital business. It's like walking into a store thats filthy and looks like it was ransacked - very offputtingBottom line, the value for the projector is great to be 100% fair - but be aware this is likely cheap china, plastic inferior quality tech being imported via alibaba dot com and sold by some kid in his garage on amazon. You get what you pay for and like me, you need to consider this purchase to be a disposable one. Use and enjoy it while it lasts (days or years) - and good luck with the rest.I was fair and gave 4 stars as it is what it is but buyer be aware.

The media could not be loaded.  I have used a couple of projectors over the years with my friends and family. This one has a major upgrade in the audio compared to the them. I usually have to connect a speaker output to increase the volume on the projector's due to the inherent white noise from the projector's operation itself. In the case of this one it was much quieter and had more punch in the audio.On a side note I did hit a minor snag where the first projector I received had the tilt button non functional. As mentioned on the handbook got in touch with the customer service and they understood the problem and sent in a replacement device immediately. That was pleasant experience since not much back and forth on troubleshooting. Quick turnaround from the company with the explanation that the first one could have been an issue of damage during transit.The picture quality is sharp and do not see any colors bleeding through on the screen. I was able to project on a wall and did not see any degradation in performance. They do provide a screen with hooks but am planning to get the free standing screen. The free standing screen allows the picture to be seen on both sides of the screen, that makes for an interesting movie experience.I was able to connect a google chomecast to it and cast videos/movies from my phone without any setup needed.The buttons on the device are well placed and the menus are mostly 1 step solutions rather than multiple presses.

I use this projector for viewing TV, DVDs, etc. in a dimly lit residential room. The picture is clear, the colors are surprisingly saturated and true considering the unit's small size. The onboard sound is more than adequate for my viewing needs. I tried the USB input for photo viewing. The experience is positive in that it allows for previewing/selecting folders and pictures for subsequent slideshow presentation. The slideshow options are plentiful and give the operator good control of the presentation e.g. zooming in/out. I connected a USB-based DVD drive to a USB port for power and HDMI for audio/video. It works perfectly; it's a good arrangement making the DVD player virtually an extension of the projector. I also tried casting via Chromecast dongle that logs into my wifi router, again plugging it into a USB port for power and HDMI for audio/video. It again worked perfectly casting from my laptop and my Android phone. I even tried it with Hauppauge WinTV running on my laptop and casting from a Chrome browser desktop casting option to the Chromecast. And it worked, too. These are the I/O options that I use. I don't have any devices with RGB out so I couldn't try that. The sound options include surround which I use in my viewing since it adds its own type of depth even though the onboard speaker is small and runs at 2W. I'm pleased with the number of video "tuning" options. I'm quite satisfied with this unit, certainly at this price point. If you want a big theater experience you'll need to pay a lot more. If you want a more intimate viewing experience, this could well be the projector for you. Its diminutive size, capabilities and cost are crowd pleasers for sure!
