Q: Can this be used on outside valve?

Can you install an INSTANT-OFF on a outside hose connection? Yes. You need a 3/4" female hose thread adapter part number 34F-H-ADP. The adapter screw onto the the hose adapter with the large female end and the other end of the adapter screws into the INSTANT-OFF.

Q: Is this the rod only? Or faucet too?

The INSTANT-OFF Pro LR is an automatic shut off valve that replaces the aerator on any faucet or can be installed directly on to threaded pipe using a pipe thread adapter that we manufacture. The INSTANT-OFF Pro LR is not a hand wash faucet it installs on to your existing faucet. We manufacture Hand Wash Faucets that come equipped with INSTANT-OFF. The model 100 is for small hand wash sinks and the INSTANT-OFF Automatic Zero Waste Hand Wash Faucet Model 180 for standard hand wash sinks comes equipped with an INSTANT-OFF Pro LR. The INSTANT-OFF Pro Series Automatic Shut Off Valves prevent employees from wasting water, reduce cross-contamination caused by touching faucet handles and save about $150 a year in water and sewer costs.

Q: is the attached aerator low flow?

Yes the INSTANT-OFF is LOW FLOW and Zero Waste! INSTANT-OFF is the most effective water saver in the world because it is ZERO WASTE. The flow rate is 1.5 gallons per minute but the waste rate is zero. The INSTANT-OFF stops 100% of wasted water by automatically shutting off the water when its not needed. INSTANT-OFF also stops drippy faucets and reduces the spread of germs caused by touching faucet handles.

Q: I have a hansgrohe faucet with a very small aerator, did anyone had to get an adaptor for the hansgrohe faucet?

An adaptor is needed and may be difficult to find.
